Review: On September [redacted] we received a loan offer from Beaumont Referrals stating the following, "Based on your credit profile, you have been fully approved for a loan in the amount of $5000." On September [redacted] we contacted, "[redacted], Tel: ###-###-#### ext: [redacted]" regarding this offer. We went over the terms and conditions of the loan with him. He stated that it was a 3 year loan, with 10% fixed rate interest for a $5,000 loan. The payments would be $161.34. We did not have collateral so [redacted] told us that we could make 3 advance payments and use Western Union to send the funds to [redacted] in Ontario, Canada. We sent 484.00 via Western Union to [redacted]. We called [redacted] back and he asked if we wanted the "Optional" insurance. We told him no. He said that we would have our funds dispersed to our account in 2-4 hours. After the 4 hours were up, and we had no funds we contacted [redacted] who referred us to customer service. There we spoke with [redacted], who said she was a supervisor in Customer Service. She informed us that upon 2nd review, our funds would not be released until we paid $1500.00 for insurance. This is the same insurance that [redacted] had told us optional. She said she would do us a favor and cut it in half and only request $750.00 for the funds to be released. We told her we would call her back. We researched this company online and found other complaints of the same thing happening to other people. At this point we called [redacted] back and informed her that we wanted our money to be refunded. She stated that it would take 30 days. We were given a date of October [redacted], 2013 that our $484.00 would be returned.Desired Settlement: We would like our original $484.00 returned sooner then October [redacted]. They took our money in one day, I believe them reimbursing us within one week would be fair. Along with the $484.00 we would like to have our $40.00 Western Union fee returned also. We would have not sent the money to them if they had been honest and up front about the insurance to begin with. Please search other complaints online also if you need more information on this company.

At this time, I have not been contacted by Beaumont Referrals regarding complaint ID [redacted]. The funds have not been applied to my account yet either, and a check for the amount has not been received yet either.

Sincerely,

Review: This company provided me docutments stating that I had been approved for a 5,000 loan. I had to pay 500 up ffront to secure the loan. I [redacted] the money to them and they advised I would have the money in my account in 2-5 hours. after 4 hours when nothing I contacted them, and they said I either had to come up with another 1500, or pay an additional 3 months up front. I at that time opted to have my money refunded to me, I was told it would talk 14-30 days for a refund. It has now been over 30 days and still have no refund.Desired Settlement: I want the money back that I paid to them. 500.00

Review: Due to a tough financial situation, I have recently applied for a number of personal loans. Beaumont Referrals received my information through a referral service and stated that I had been fully approved for a $5,000 loan over a three-year period. I was emailed the contract language, and the contract states that I had to make a collateral payment of $484, which amounted to the first three loans payments, in order to get the money in a 2-4 hour time frame. I made the payment and faxed the signed documents back to the company. However, after fulfilling my end of the contract terms, I was told I had to agree to insurance coverage for the loan. This page was optional in the contract, and in addition had two listed dollar amounts: $2000 and $1500. I was told I'd have to pay half the amount - of which, I don't know - before I could get the loan. This totals a minimum of $1234 I had to pay to secure the loan. After thinking about it, I called the original loan officer, who then told me another story - that is wasn't half of an insurance premium I had to pay, but three more collateral payments totaling $484. Seeing that they were not adhering to the contract, I asked for a refund, which they stated I would not get for 30 business days.Desired Settlement: Either I would like them to live up to the terms of the contract and deliver the $5,000, upon which I will make the agreed upon monthly payments of $161.34 (to begin December *, 2013 according to the terms of the contract), or I would like an immediate refund of my money, since the terms stated in the contract were violated. I should not have to wait 30 days for my money refund, when they violated written terms and engaged in oral miscommunication.

Sincerely,

Review: I was told I qualified for a$5000 loan. I paid $484 for 1st 3 mo of the loan. Then was told that if I paid $750 for insurance on the loan that the company would cover the other half and I would have my loan in 2 hours of receipt of payment. When that didn't happen I called and was told to pay an additional $484 to put my payments out for 7 months. And again I was told after not getting the loan that another $484 was due...still no loan at this point I have paid over $2200 +$220 in sending fees...I was then put into contact with a woman named [redacted]..who told me I was $550 short for transfer fees to western union the money...yesterday morning this was done...was to wait till 3:30cst and my funds would be there. Then again at 7pm...still no funds. I have called and been hung up on repeatedly. I have been told it would take anywhere from 14-60 days to get my funds that I have sent back from them. [redacted] told me I would receive a welcome packet with payment schedule and additional credit card with limit of $2500 on Tuesday the [redacted] and that my funds would be deposited yesterday. I spoke with her this morning and she said that western union was down and they were working on sending funds. I spoke with western union and they said nothing was amiss with there system anywhere...no reports of malfunctions anywhere. I have spoke with a [redacted]...I sent western union payments to a [redacted] and a [redacted] in Ontario Canada...They're phone system says all calls are monitored for quality assurance...at this point I don't see any quality in their work.Desired Settlement: I want all my money back or the funds in which contract was signed for. I have paid well over half of what was needed to get the loan.

Sincerely,

Review: I was approved for a $5000 personal loan from Beaumont Referrals obtained from one of their lenders out of [redacted] Canada - [redacted]. I received a Promissory Note to sign and email back. Because my credit I was told I would get 10% interest rate making my monthly payments $161.40 per month but I had to wire 3 months in advance which would make my first payment due on Jan. 2014 - Oct. 2017. I wired $484.00 supposedly to my lender: [redacted] company in Canada and was asked to take out a $1,500 insurance policy in case of loss of job, layoff, etc. and was asked to wire half of the insurance $750 to [redacted] in Canada and Beaumont would cover the other $750 which I did. I was told by [redacted] after I wired the $750 that he made a mistake and Beaumont Referrals could not make the $750 payment on the insurance because they were a Broker company. I demanded a full refund which they said I would receive in 14-30 days certified check to my home and would receive an email on Monday, 9/*/13 of which I did not receive and I sent them an email requesting full refund immediately with no response. Now the phone number is always busy with no responses. Complaint resolution: Full Refund including 2 separate services charges [redacted] to Canada ($40 and $66)Desired Settlement: This company lied to me and this false claim of approval of $5,000 in a Promissory Note did not take place. Now that they have received all of my money they have not honored the total refund of monies that I gave without receiving one dime of the $5,000 that they said I was approved for. I want my $1,340 returned to me and I dont' want anyone else to fall for this company's scam. They need to be reported to the FBI and I might just file a complaint with them as well.
