The AC in my apartment is not blowing cold air. The apartment only get hotter and hotter as the day goes by with heights of 85-90 degrees I can't sleep in my apartment at moment. I reported to the property man*** multiple times but as of 6/3/18 nothing has been done about it. And due to the AC not blowing cold air, water is dripping from the ceiling and there are black spots that have formed on the kitchen ceiling which I believe to be mold. There was also another incident in the mouths of jan-feb where there was raw sewage all over the ground. I made multiple reports to the property man*** but I was brushed off being told that, "it will be taken care of" the sewage was blocking my way into my apartment and I would have to walk through it and try not to track it into my apartment. The parking lot was covered in the sewage making parking a problem having to park on the far side of the complex.
Hello, My name is ***, property man*** at Carley House Apartments. We are working diligently to repair the ac for apt 502 and other units that went out prior to ***. Just like the other unit that went out we put in a courtesy window unit to keep the resident cool until the unit can be replaced. Yes, we did have a problem in late January to mid-February but that has been taken care of and the city of Beaumont was never called out.
I've been in the apartment for only 3 months and this has been the worst experience I've ever had. I pay my rent on time, I'm clean and I'm quite and keep to myself. I've had countless conversations with the apartment manager and who I thought was the maintenance man, but informed me he is the maintenance helper about the repairs that need to be done to my apartment. I've called, texted and left notes in the drop box and to this very second no resolution AT ALL. In spite of it all I continued to pay my rent faithfully in good faith that one day I'll come home from work and repairs would be all done. The week of thanksgiving I reported a leak from the ceiling that was not repaired but instead patched up and the patchwork is cracking. I reported that water is leaking from the sink in the kitchen the maintenance helper comes out to only suck out the water and to tell me that he does not have authorization to fix, diagnose, or repair the issue that has been reported. We stood in my living room for 30 minutes arguing on why the repairs have not been done since my move in date of September the 12th of 2017 and all he could tell me was that he was the helper and that I need to talk to the lady in the office he is just the middleman not the actual maintenance man and the issue that I reported is not serious enough and can wait until tomorrow. I moved here due to Hurricane Harvey, but just like Harvey this just another situation that have ran me out of here as well, very poor, management, customer service, a very uncomfortable living situation
