I am rejecting this response because:Beautiwood's return policy was explained to me in a belittling manner when I returned to the store. I was in shock that he was talking to me this way. My only words to him before he went on his boisterous tirade was, "can I return this?" He immediately yelled his discontent for returning stain after people had used it. It was obvious he was profiling me. He confirmed that feeling with me when he refused to return the sandpaper. Once again, the stain can was never opened and the sandpaper was never used. There was no need for him to speak to me in a belittling, prejudicial, challenging manner. I was left truly stunned. He made me feel like "this Mexican is not getting over on me". I refused to engage further in the combustible atmosphere he had created. I took the initiative to defuse the situation by not engaging him and walking away. For decades I have been in retail. I owned businesses and worked in management for corporations. I would never allow anyone to speak to a customer like he did to me. Had he engaged me in a humanly respectful manner we wouldn't be here now. I am a realtor and we are held to very high ethics standards so believe me when I say there is no reason for me to lie or exaggerate my experience with this person. Sincerely, [redacted]
