Its not like I brought my work with me and most people who go on vacation don't want to deal with work That comment alone should speak volumes about the type of customer I've had to deal withThey expect everyone to drop what there doing for them, as if there life is more important than mineMoving on down there was a remark about scuffing up the floors News to me Never was brought up Knowing this guy I'm sure he would've tried to recoup some money if we did do it The refrigerator was the icing on the cake with this guy There was a lot of different people working in and around the kitchen That day for sure trim guys were working in there For all I know that door was damaged on delivery Where it was dinged up wasn't even close to where we were installing the granite (was a good foot or so above the countertop) How he was so sure it was us is beyond disbeliefI'm not saying my guys didn't do it (they all denied it vehemently) but I'm not sure how he's so confident we did do itNo proof whatsoever but I decided to be the bigger man and took responsibility and took care of it This guy was totally clueless on how to coordinate his contractors (never once got a phone call from the builder letting us know where they were at, general contractors job to make sure everyone is on the same page) I cant speak for everyone on that last comment though, just from what I experienced Was told three weeks before he was supposed to close that we needed to get the cabinets in No warning or deadline whatsoever before that Just a vaguely rough timeline, "sometime in the fall" type of line On top of that he dumped or so interior doors on me that he needed help on for staining and finishing Told him I didn't have time to stain them but would spray them for him I let his wife use our shop to do there work His wife then and goes and dumps a gallon of stain over $worth of stacked crown molding and completely ruins the entire lot She walks off the scene and I got stuck staining the rest of the doorsSo if there wondering why I might have talked down on her and they wonder why I fell a little behind, there's your reason why Only got half the story on that one In regards to the last complaint, its totally common that a stud or wall shift over time, especially for new construction Things haven't settled yet and when it comes to moisture content in wood, studs will move depending on time of year This was a classic case where a stud shifted and brought the cabinet away from the wall I get a message from Seth on my honeymoon that he needs us to take care of this problem for him Tell him I will get back to him when I get back He contacts me via text message and I tell him that it will cost $for me to go up there (1/of driving plus gas) and take care of the problemTell him his studs have shifted He puts a level up but its not even in the right place to check, nor does it tell the whole story Studs can shift left or right as well without bowing the wall Ask any contractorHe blows a gasket and threatens me if I ever step onto his property he's going to beat my as NEVER ONCE DID I THREATNEN THIS MAN AND I HAVE THE TEXT MESSAGES TO BACK IT UP, AS WELL AS HIS THREATS Being threatened to have my as beat is where I draw the line and I refuse to take care of his problems or any others

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** I had another contractor come and fix this problem as I did not want *** *** on my property ever againI have included a picture of the so called shifting of a studIf a stud shift, the screw does not come out of a studThis picture clearly shows an installation errorAs to him saying he was never given notice, that is his take but he was notified and just not preparedAs to his statement that there were many other contractors that day working when the fridge was damaged, it was just his crew in the kitchen that dayAs to the crown moulding getting ruined, yes *** let us use his shop to stain our doors, we stained all but doors and we had an accident and our stain fell over their crown moulding stockWe cleaned up the mess, contacted him immediately and asked him to stain the remaining doors which he agreed to doHe had previously agreed to spray finish all doors so this was not an added jobWe also paid *** cash for the price he asked of the crown moulding damageHe knew the closing date of our house well in advance and he never met his original date of completion for cabinet installation

In regards to the complaint, this is nonsense.  I'll start with the comment about it being a big inconvenience to get him specs while I was on vacation.  Of course it was, I'm on VACATION. How abut a weeks heads up?  Its not like I brought my work with me and most people who...

go on vacation don't want to deal with work.  That comment alone should speak volumes about the type of customer I've had to deal with. They expect everyone to drop what there doing for them, as if there life is more important than mine. Moving on down there was a remark about scuffing up the floors.  News to me.  Never was brought up.  Knowing this guy I'm sure he would've tried to recoup some money if we did do it.  The refrigerator was the icing on the cake with this guy.  There was a lot of different people working in and around the kitchen.  That day for sure trim guys were working in there.  For all I know that door was damaged on delivery.  Where it was dinged up wasn't even close to where we were installing the granite (was a good foot or so above the countertop).  How he was so sure it was us is beyond disbelief. I'm not saying my guys didn't do it (they all denied it vehemently) but I'm not sure how he's so confident we did do it. No proof whatsoever but I decided to be the bigger man and took responsibility and took care of it.  This guy was totally clueless on how to coordinate his contractors (never once got a phone call from the builder letting us know where they were at, general contractors job to make sure everyone is on the same page).  I cant speak for everyone on that last comment though, just from what I experienced.  Was told three weeks before he was supposed to close that we needed to get the cabinets in.  No warning or deadline whatsoever before that.  Just a vaguely rough timeline, "sometime in the fall" type of line.  On top of that he dumped 15 or so interior doors on me that he needed help on for staining and finishing.  Told him I didn't have time to stain them but would spray them for him.  I let his wife use our shop to do there work.  His wife then and goes and dumps a gallon of stain over $3000.00 worth of stacked crown molding and completely ruins the entire lot.  She walks off the scene and I got stuck staining the rest of the doors. So if there wondering why I might have talked down on her and they wonder why I fell a little behind, there's your reason why.  Only got half the story on that one.  In regards to the last complaint, its totally common that a stud or wall shift over time, especially for new construction.  Things haven't settled yet and when it comes to moisture content in wood, studs will move  depending on time of year.  This was a classic case where a stud shifted and brought the cabinet away from the wall.  I get a message from Seth on my honeymoon that he needs us to take care of this problem for him.  Tell him I will get back to him when I get back.  He contacts me via text message and I tell him that it will cost $70 for me to go up there (1 1/2 of driving plus gas) and take care of the problem. Tell him his studs have shifted.  He puts a level up but its not even in the right place to check, nor does it tell the whole story.  Studs can shift left or right as well without bowing the wall.  Ask any contractor. He blows a gasket and threatens me if I ever step onto his property he's going to beat my as.  NEVER ONCE DID I THREATNEN THIS MAN AND I HAVE THE TEXT MESSAGES TO BACK IT UP, AS WELL AS HIS THREATS.  Being threatened to have my as beat is where I draw the line and I refuse to take care of his problems or any others.
