Beauty Bid

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted],  They did provide us with partial refund, but kept $250 from the money we paid for ads that NEVER happen.  claiming that was processing fee, processing fee to rip us off I guess, because they did absolutely ZERO to warrant that charge.  I don't agree with BeautyBid.com statements that we didn't respond to their calls, emails or text, we did respond stating we wanted a FULL refund, but its not what they wanted to hear!  Every email we sent to BeautyBid.com contained the following subject: "I'm requesting a full refund by today - I will contact Revdex.com and Attorney General's Office "This is the second email I'm sending requesting a full refund from your company.  I'm in charge of marketing for [redacted] Spa and when [redacted] showed me your web site and your social media page I know for a fact your company does not have the traffic needed to bring customers through the door at this time and we do not want to waist our advertising dollars with your company at this time. I need a response from you by today by email regarding this matter or I will place a complaint with Revdex.com and [redacted].BeautyBid.com staff/owners seem to have selective memory as to what happen, they replied a couple times to my email saying that the owner of BeautyBid.com is requesting to speak with one of the director of [redacted] over the phone, and we responded to that request with the following message "I do NOT have time to speak with [redacted], I have done my research and do not want to waist $1500 with a company who's web site does not have the traffic to drive customers through my door, you should have developed your presence online and managed to get [redacted] fans before you approach companies trying to sell them on your brand.  I want a full refund by today!" They ignored my request since their goal was to keep the money, the only time they offered to finally provide my company with a refund was after I filed a complaint with Revdex.com.   I'm sick and tired of these fly by online deal companies trying to come around with their fast sales pitch and false promises trying to make a quick buck out of the beauty industry, because they heard from someone that the beauty industry which is mostly owned by women are stupid and don't know anything about website traffic and anyone can put up a website and sell them on the dream that they are going to flood their spa with clients if you advertise on their website. These statements are 99% of the time false because their website don't have the traffic to back up all that talk! BeautyBid.com has ZERO website traffic, do any search related to the beauty industry in Arizona, BeautyBid.com website does not come up, plus they barely have a [redacted] social media presence!!The mistake here was that the manager who's in charge of HR for [redacted] Spa,  [redacted] who's not in charge of marketing and knows nothing about checking website traffic fell for [redacted] with BeautyBid.com quick sales pitch without consulting with me the marketing director, she agreed to meet with [redacted], because [redacted] called the spa non-stop with her sales pitch, even after being told that I was in charge of marketing and that I worked from home and that she needed to contact me by email, [redacted] continue to call the spa demanding to speak with a manager.  [redacted] finally gave in and agreed to meet with her without making me aware, [redacted] is a very good, convincing  sales person and [redacted] not knowing anything about how to check website traffic fell for her sales pitch. When [redacted] told me that she had paid $1500 to advertise in this unknown website called BeautyBid.com, I was shocked. I started to do my homework to find out if this was a smart marketing investment, I used my resources to find out what kind of traffic BeautyBid.com receives and found out they had ZERO traffic and even worst their social media presence is really very poor for a company saying they can bring traffic to our spa through their web site, that is when I demanded a refund.  This is the truth about what happen, we will accept this settlement, because I have a feeling they will never refund the full amount, but I want my response for of this settlement made public.

This matter should be easily resolved.  BeautyBid...

and [redacted] signed a legal agreement on 11-21-13 as well as a signed email that states all additional terms and conditions.  [redacted] agreed, signed and provided additional information even a week after the agreement was signed stating she was looking forward to working with BeautyBid.  I received an email from [redacted] on 12-2-13 requesting a refund and to cancel the agreement.  BeautyBid made several attempts to contact customer via phone, email and text requesting a brief conference call to discuss and resolve any concerns.  [redacted] would never return phone calls or attempts to resolve.  BeautyBid in good faith offered to resolve the issue without the call due to constant threats.  BeautyBid has provided a refund to company based on good faith and business practice.
 
I am attaching the agreement and email correspondence from [redacted].   I have many more examples of correspondence if needed.
 
We do expect this to be resolved as quickly as possible as the claims were 100% unwarranted and invalid.
