I started subscribing to Beauty Box in June of BBis a monthly beauty subscription with a cost of $per month + free shipping only on the subscription box(Prices are US prices) When I signed up, I also purchased their $mystery boxI was unhappy with the time it took to receive the mystery sample box and the contentsSome samples leakedWhen I contacted BB5, there was no offer to resend or make it rightI was happy with the contents of the 1st boxesHowever, when September's box arrived, the powder had been tampered with and powder went all overBeauty Box customer service told me it was my fault that powder got everywhere because I shouldn't have taken the box from the mailbox and put the box in my car and I should have opened it in the bathroomThey did make it right on that one but it's not customer service persons job to correct a customer and tell them it's their fault for opening a package that wasn't packaged or sealed properlyThe company FAQ's state that monthly subscription boxes ship on the 8th of the month but that is not the caseFor several months in a row they have been late in shippingThis month, January 2017, it is now the 19th of the month and boxes have still not shippedThey are publicly blaming suppliers for the delayTheir phone number is always busyThey are not responding to emailsI finally resorted to sending a message via Facebook messengerTHEY CANCELED MY ACCOUNT FOR ME! Just because I mentioned canceling my subscriptionI did not request that they cancel my account or subscriptionAll I said is that I am going to cancel my subscription after I finally get the January Beauty Box Their response was to cancel my account entirely and now are not responding to any type of correspondenceI have even contacted their parent company and get no responseKeep in mind that this is a prepaid serviceI have checked my transactionsMy billing with this company should be near the end of the month when I signed up for thisThey started taking the money out of my account near the beginning of the month without permission or notificationThis month they took the $out of my account in the 5thBoxes are supposed to ship in the 8th of the monthThey have their customers money but have not sent products paid forThey are not responding to emails,messages or social media postsAs good as the first few boxes were, the last were not goodIf they have had to resend a broken product once, they will be niceWhen it happens for the second time, rudeIf you place an order with them online, expect about week for them to ship it ($5) and about weeks to arrive after thatBetter off ordering directly from China, less shipping cost and faster shippingI wish I had checked into this company further before I subscribedHowever, their poor business practices and customer service is not the customers faultAt this point, I've paid for my January BBbut I'm not even sure if I will even receive it as they have chosen to cancel my account for meDefinitely going to the bank over this oneBEWARE!!!!

A month ago, I made a purchase from beautybox5.comWhen I received my order, half the items were missingBefore I could get around to calling them to report the error, they had already noticed and sent out my missing items(I did not have to do anything! They just fixed it by themselves!) Their customer service is so great, they fix things before you can complain!!
Not only do they provide excellent service, but they process address changes expediently and they are always very polite and professionalOut of all the companies I make purchases from they have the best customer service

This is by far the worst subscription box service I've ever experienced by customer service and product standards. The shipment was extremely slow (several weeks), and customer service is understaffed and contribute to slow response times (1 weeks) to an email ticketing system inquiry. Three of five of the paid box's products were extremely cheap, including samples that are frequently given for free, i.e. Dove body wash, and other low quality or no name brands, including several dental floss picks and a discount store brand (Laura Ashley) body lotion. Beauty Box 5's marketing is deceptive to consumers. This is not a trustworthy business.

This customers subscription was cancelled when she contacted our support team on 9/10/15. She should not receive any more billings from our company.

We issued a refund for the full amount on the credit card the customer used to pay.  We understand she did not receive the refund due to the customers bank account/card details having changed.  We've reached out to her and are happy to issue another refund by check or by paypal....

 Whatever is most convenient for her.  Thanks.
