This is a complaint toward this company which knowingly utilized high pressure, fast, talking, fact changing, false representation scamming techniques
I encountered this company on February 4, 2020 at the Tucson Gem Show Holidome location which requires attendees to have a wholesalers license and tag to enter. I am not a wholesaler and had been invited in by another vendor with a guest pass to accomplish a previously purchased product repair. Following my repair , I returned the guest pass and proceeded to the exit door where I was stopped and warmly greeted by a young woman asking if I wanted to try an eye cream. She then invited me to sit in her booth where she expressed her surprise that I was not familiar with her product, she represented the product as FDA approved, NASA tested and as seen in several popular periodicals. As she applied the eye cream her sales pitch accelerated to include additional facial cream products offered at high end prices. As I began declining these products, the sales pitch by *** escalated further and more quickly to reduced prices for the purchase of several additional products, pointing out the many other customers in the booth who were buying SEVERAL, stating that there are just a FEW PRODUCTS REMAINING and would SELL OUT SOON. At this point *** shows me the ELEVARE RED INFRARED WAND supposedly to be used to reduce sun damage, wrinkles, scaring, joint pain and facial collagen replacement. Continuing with her coercive sales approach she demonstrated the wand on my face, staring what a massive improvement there was on my skin, instructing me on the use, flashing several extreme before and after photos from her cell phone, strong arming the sale by flashing the $8000.00 price tag before me using her cell phone. Continuing to accelerate the sale she quickly stated the " no, no, no... this isn't your price... today I can give it to you for $4000.00." After I stated, "that is ridiculous!"... she then began to offer quick and confusing add on products which would reduce my price and before I knew it I was signing what I thought was a credit card reimbursement for the purchase of some facial creams followed by signing a
$4782.80 sale of the ELEVARE RED... which included tax. At no time did *** request to see my Wholesalers tag or to request my business license number... which would have made my purchase tax free. Both of which I am not in possession of because I am not a business owner. The only restriction given to me was " You must give your word not to re-sell this product" There was NO MENTION of the statement on the bottom of the receipt reading " No returns. Exchanges only." How did I miss this..?.... perhaps because she had scribbled largely across the bottom of the receipt, " not correctly charged"! I do not know what that means! And perhaps because she maintained such a fast passed, momentum gaining approach I was quickly sold and rushed out of the booth bags in hand. These people, this company, which is deceptively going by two different names, are artful, menacing, make you an offer you can't refuse, hard sell scammers conducting unacceptable sales practice. After making a follow up call to *** on February 19th, which resulted in *** yelling at me and stating that she had to go to work and I would have to call back... and after attempting repeatedly, to reach by phone, the company supposed co-owner , ***, ( provided by ***'S Business Partner RON) and with no answer, I doubt that there even exists a co-owner. This type of " business practice" preys upon older women struggling with their aging skin, has used deceptive sales methods and seduces the buyer into making purchases on over priced fake media hyped products. I officially file this complaint and request a full refund.

Desired Outcome

I request a full refund. I will return all products in the original packaging.

Beauty Care Response • Mar 16, 2020

The business owner informed Revdex.com that the dispute is not as the consumer has described it. The consumer's mother bought the product at the Tucson Gem Show. Her mother wanted the product and was made aware that the business does not provide refunds. The daughter was not there for the transaction. The business believes the only reason the daughter is complaining is that she feels the product is too expensive for her mother. The business will not provide a refund for that reason.

Customer Response • Mar 18, 2020

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I, personally, experienced the unacceptable sales practices of this business. My original complaint to Revdex.com was written by me and submitted by me... the person who actually purchased the product... which I wish to return. I was NOT informed at the time of purchase that there was a no return policy. As stated in my original complaint, I was only told, "You must give your word not to re-sell this product". I hold fast to my experience of this business as coercive , deceptive, high pressure, fast talking and scamming. The business owners' response to my complaint refers to my daughter. For the record, my daughter made one and only one phone call, on my behalf, to *** and her business partner, ***. My daughter was told to call the business co-owner, ***... whose "apparent " phone number was never answered. This is yet another deceptive practice by this business. It was at this time, when the co- owner was never made available to me , that I moved forward, with this complaint, of my own volition and of sound mind and body.
Again, this business uses unacceptable and illegal sales practice, high pressure, false representation of products and scamming. I personally, the CONSUMER, stand by my original complaint . I request a FULL REFUND and will RETURN ALL PRODUCTS.

I recently attended a home show in Hamburg, New York. I was quickly approached by an extremely friendly, well mannered, complimentary female (Dana) about her cosmetic line Truffoire. She could not believe I had never heard of the product and proceeded to apply a cream around my left eye and continued to tell me of the great benefits of this wonderful product and then gave me the outrageous
price. she started out at 1200.00 for the eye cream and then thru several fast talking conversation and throwing figures out there, she said she would sell me the eye cream (today only) for 250.00.
she then proceeded to show me other products which were equally expensive 1200.00 and higher, however
she said she could work up a price of 500.00 which would include the eye cream and two other products
which I could choose, she walked over to another sales individual and came back and said we will give
you all three products for 450.00. there was so much fast talking and information about the greatness
of these products that I was signing a receipt for 489.00 before I knew it. they e-mailed my receipt
at that moment, I asked to see the email, they showed it to me and it was for 489.94. At no point did I scan the remainder of the receipt which indicated no refund/exchange only. this was never mentioned during the sale. she indicated to me they are FDA approved 3 separate times. I did ck reviews when I got home and they were not good. I returned the next morning for a refund based on the reviews and the fact that the FDA does not approve cosmetic products, she told me they are not cosmetic, they are medical and basically refused to deal with me. Also, When I first approached the next morning, a woman was in the chair listing to the sales spin and she asked me "do you love it", I said no and Dana took great offense to that comment and told me she was done dealing with me.

Desired Outcome

Refund Refund of 489.94
