Initial Business Response /* (1000, 15, 2015/07/28) */
I'm sorry to hear the customer has not received a response. I did go through our email archives and found an inquiry dated October 21, 2012 along with our response dated October 22, 2012. I've attached a redacted copy of the email exchange....
I can find no record of a response. I can provide the Revdex.com/the customer an un-redacted copy upon request.
Regardless, I'm happy to resolve this. Since the last communication with the customer we have opened an online store. The gift cards cannot be used as is at the store but once I am able to verify the value of the cards I can give her a discount code of the same value.
To proceed I simply need the customer to provide me with the numbers on the back of each card. I recommend she email or call me with these as making these available publicly may be a risk.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 22, 2015/08/26) */
I have called [redacted] regarding this matter and left a message. We will issue a check in the amount of $15.00.
Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/08/14) */
I asked the salon staff about the consumer's complaint and they responded with an email that explains their side of things. I've attached this with the names and contact information redacted.
Per the salon they performed the services...
desired by the claimant but, since her hair was already damaged before coming there, they had to use caution. They continued working with her on two dates past the original service, some complimentary. After the last visit on June 15, 2015 she reportedly left with her hair in fine condition and tipped the stylist $15.00. The complaint to the Revdex.com a month later is the first report of any damage. We question what could have caused this. The last chemical service the customer received was a color on 5/19/2015. When she returned on 6/15/2015 the salon saw no damage. They gave her a complimentary conditioning treatment (used to smooth and deep clean and hydrate hair shafts) and a haircut/blow out. Neither of these would cause damage and certainly not "irreversible' damage that's broken and falling out. Attached is a copy of the consumers sales tickets that documents the services performed by date.
In an attempt to resolve this with no further frustration we are happy to re-offer the consumer the cost of the initial perm and haircut ($65 and $44) Total refund $109. This would be in the form of a check sent from this office and takes about two weeks to process.
The consumer demands compensation for damages and emotional stress (pain and suffering). Beyond our questions about the origin of the described hair damage we also do not feel that the Revdex.com is the proper forum to make a claim for these type of damages. Therefore we will not be offering any further compensation.

Final Business Response /* (4000, 13, 2015/08/25) */
I've communicated with our staff and shared the photos with them. They reiterate that there was no problem with the service as performed-they just could not perform the service the customer requested as there was a risk of causing hair damage. No hair damage was ever observed. Even the photos submitted by the customer don't display the damage originally described.
The salon performed complimentary services, provided complimentary product and offered to refund based on the customers ongoing complaints in an attempt to provide good customer service. Respectfully, I will again re-offer the refund of $109.00.
