Beauty Jewel Day Spa

Review: I purchased two [redacted] discounts for my mother and myself in March from Beauty Jewel Spa for a massage package which they honored. I booked the appointments with no issue and the service was great. When I was done with the appointment, the receptionist told us we could get another package each for 2 massages for $200 with a year to redeem the massages. We both decided to purchase a package of 2 massages each. On June [redacted], I spoke with the receptionist again in June to book my massage and she said if I couldn't go Sunday June [redacted], she would need to call me back the next day if someone cancelled. I never received a call. I then called back on June [redacted] and spoke with a man who told me I was not scheduled for the appointment on June [redacted] and still had 2 massages on my account. This was the last time I spoke with someone. I proceeded to call every week to book my massages in August but no one ever answered the phone and there was no answering service. I was still receiving emails for their "spa packages" so I didn't know what was going on. I checked their website and on their appointment calendar they noted that for about 3 weeks they were undergoing renovations so I figured that was the reason no one was getting back to me. They noted that on the week of August [redacted] they would be back in business but still haven't been able to get in touch with anyone, but I assumed that the renovations possibly went longer. I had to actually go to the spa to see that they were no longer in business, and now their website confirms they are "Out of Business." I do not understand why they would not notify their customers who had prepaid their appointments that they were going out of business. If I would have had they opportunity to squeeze in at least ONE of the massages I already paid for I would have understood that things happen and unfortunately they had to go out of business. But I was never notified there was a chance I could lose my investment and up until about a week ago they were still advertising their services.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded for the money I prepaid for massages I can no longer redeem. I still have my receipt if the proof of purchases is needed.
