Review: I contacted Ms [redacted]'s shop after viewing her website. I wanted to have Micro Braids put in my hair. I received a return call from a lady named [redacted]. [redacted] at first tried to charge me $200.00 until I told her that the price listed on the website is $180.00. She agreed to charge the website price. [redacted] braided my hair on 9/05/13 at 3pm. [redacted] took approximately 7 hours to complete my hair and it should have only take 5 hours since I asked for the braids to be a little bigger than the usual micro braids. Some of the braids started to unravel and she attempted to repair them. She also kept spraying some type of holding gel that caused some other braids to slide off. I paid the $180.00 and left the shop. As I walked to my car several braids fell out and over the course of the next 5-6 days, approximately 1/4 of the braids fell out of my hair. I kept the braids to wait for the owner, [redacted] to return from her trip. I e-mailed [redacted] the same night of the appointment. We exchange at least 6 e-mails and I called her everyday until she agreed to meet me at her shop on 9/12/2013. I showed the owner a bag full of braids that had already fallen out and as I sat talking to her, she could see several more braids fall out of my hair onto the ground. I asked her how much she charges to remove braids. As I was willing to have her deduct that amount from the $180.00 and refund the remainder of my money. She stated that was not an option and proceeded to tell me that her attorney was on the way. Then she offered to mail the entire amount of $180.00 to me but would not write my address down or tell me when I could expect to receive the refund. I started writing my address down when she answered her phone and walked out of the front door. A few moments later, one of her salon workers told me that Ms [redacted] was picked up by her attorney,she will not be in the shop until tomorrow and that I can call her attorney. Well, I never met the attorney, nor did I receive a name or number.Desired Settlement: I would like the entire amount of $180.00 refunded to me.
