I purchased a hair piece/wig at the at this store. When I got home open the package almost as soonas I pull the wig out of the package it had astrong perfume odor. This item did not looknew at all. It appear to be re packaged and resoldto me. I immediately put this hair back in the package It came in. When went to return it the male cashier told me it was no return or refund. I explain the situation and to speak to manger, I was refused to speak a manger.I was not allowed to talk to anyone in manager.The store is putting used wigs/hair pieces out for resale and that is health and safety issue.Product_Or_Service: Free trees Full Cap /////Desired SettlementI think when customer has a issue with a itemthat has been purchased at the store. The cashier would not refund or exchange two pairs of earings. I had the receipt I spent $57.15 at the store 3 days prior... The one pair had broken I asked for a manager he said "I am"... I asked for his supervisor or the owner contact info and he refused to refer me to his supervisor(s). Then I asked for his name and he refused to give me his name. All I know how to describe him is that he was oriental, dark hair and wearing a blue jacket. He was very rude. He did not apologize for my inconvenience of the defective merchandise or offer any solution and laughed at me.Desired SettlementRefund or exchange AND an apologyBusiness Response Dear Revdex.com,This is Beauty Outlet Replying to Revdex.com (Revdex.com) for the following complaint Case#[redacted]. I apologize for the late response as I had just received the letter on 4/14 from my superiors about this incident and they requested that I follow up on the complaint. I am the manager that the complainant had spoken to. The Following customer [redacted] had approached cash register one (located near the door) requested a refund. The customer did not say the following item were broken, all that she stated was "I would like a refund". As I checked her receipt it was checked out at register 2 (located near the wigs on the right side of the store) and after verifying the receipt I had moved on to verifying what kind of merchandise the customer had brought back. The merchandise was two sets of earring in a bag and one of which was broken. I asked the customer what had happened to the earrings and she stated "I don't know, it was fine a moment ago". Then I told the customer that the following items were final sale items and were not eligible for exchange, store credit, or refund. The store policy states all jewelries are final sale. There are signs at each of the registers with the following statement: "No Refund or Exchange". Also near the jewelries there are notes posted that jewelries are not exchangeable or returnable. Then she replied in a anger saying "it's not right" then she had requested to see a supervisor or a manager which I stated it was me. Then we began exchanging words of why we couldn't allow the exchange or refund, she then proceeds to yell in dissatisfaction of our service and started to slander the store. This is where I smiled and chuckled at her for because of her actions and I had requested her to vacate the premise for her behavior. That was when as she was making her way for the exit, she yelled that she was going to file a complaint with the Revdex.com. The reason on why I did not release my superiors contact or name is for security reasons. I am not authorized to reveal any information unless notified to release. Lastly the reason for me not exposing my name was because I did not want to be a part of anyones slander. The final sale are enforced in our store, and we strictly forbid special occasion jewelry, wigs, and certain beauty products to be returned for due to sanitary reasons and preventing unwanted merchandise loss.. I know my action for chuckling at her were wrong, but again I did apologize to her, and I still sincerely apologize for her inconvenience.
