Beauty Sage Reviews (2)

Review: I sent out a total of 4 e-mails, first ones were sent out last week on July [redacted], and two follow up e-mails sent on July **, 2013, with issues about my order, that was placed on July [redacted], in the hopes that this will be solved in a more professional, honest and timely manner. I have never received a reply back from them and usually online stores have a time frame of 24-48 hours to reply to e-mails. According to their 'contact us' page, to reach them regarding issues, is through e-mail or phone call, so, a paying customer have either option then for convenience. Since there was silence, on my 3rd e-mail, I asked if they prefer a phone call instead for better assistance to resolve my issue about a return and exchange of products of which is Beauty Sage.com's packing/shipping group's error. First issue- I received the wrong nail polish color. On my first e-mail, I attached photos that I took of the bottle of nail polish, showing the shade 'neat' that was shipped out to me, as proof of their error. Second issue-The bottle of Argan oil was mysteriously empty. There wasn't any spillage in the box where the contents of the rest of the other products (that were of liquid form as well), that where packed, there wasn't a single drop of oil left, God only knows, it just somehow dried out or something. The argan oil's lid was actually sealed, which snapped when I twisted it to open. It was such a mystery to me why it was so. Maybe, this bottle came to their stock, from the actual vendor, who was at fault. This being my very first time to purchase from Beauty Sage.com,I am sorry to say, is such a first bad impression/ experience. All I requested was a replacement for both products of which again is their error. I wouldn't care less if the oil was less than $20, but this is almost $40 a bottle AND I have never even had a chance to enjoy it.Desired Settlement: To avoid any bigger problems, though the nail polish cost me $15 a bottle, a splurge/ expensive buy, however, I've decided that I will not be returning that 'failed/error' nail polish as it is such an inconvenient and small matter to deal with. All I ask is a refund for the Argan oil and all is solve.

Response:

On Friday evening, July [redacted], I received notification from the Revdex.com regarding this complaint. I immediately looked through our customer service email and we have no documentation of any emails sent from the customer's name or email address in our customer service email system. I also searched by order number but nothing was sent under that either. I then called the customer and left a message. I also called the mediator at Revdex.com to discuss next steps but also got her voicemail. I followed up with calls to both again when I arrived at work this morning, Monday the [redacted] and left messages with both parties. I followed up with an email to the customer explaining that no emails were received and asked that she email or call me directly so we can get this addressed as quickly as possible. The moderator called me a short time ago and requested I respond here. We believe in providing the best customer service possible and now that we are aware of this, will work to get this resolved.

In summary, we have no record of the customer's complaint. We've reached out multiple times since receiving this Revdex.com complaint and we look forward to hearing from this customer so we can get this resolved.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

Review: In December of 2013 I purchased a Theorie brand flat iron for $125.00. After a couple months, the iron would no longer heat up. I contacted Beauty Sage and they shipped me a replacement. The new flat iron worked fine for a few months and then began shutting off intermittently. I contacted Beauty Sage again and they stated they no longer sold this size of flat iron. They offered me the larger flat iron, but my hair was too short for this to work. They gave me $125.00 credit on my account since there was nothing else on their site that I currently needed/wanted. After viewing their site recently, I found some items I wanted. When I clicked on each item, I was redirected to [redacted] for the purchase. Knowing that [redacted] would know nothing about my credit with Beauty Sage, I tried calling Beauty Sage to find out how to use my credit. The phone rings continually - no voicemail. On the website, there is no longer any information on how to contact the company. I found the company email on my receipt and emailed asking how to use my credit. I have received no response. I tried calling again today but the phone rings once and then goes immediately to a busy signal. I even found another phone number for Beauty Sage online but it there is no answer at this number either.Desired Settlement: I would like to either be issued a refund or be able to use my store credit.
