I proved in our correspondence through text messaging that I tried to cater to miss [redacted] needs, I traveled on a holiday to take the row out that she requested and she cancelled our appointmentI followed all the steps I needed to take care of her request and she fell throughI go over and beyond for my clients and I'm sorry she was not satisfied but I scheduled her appointment less than hours after her complaint there wasn't much more I could do because she cancelled

My name is Ashlee H [redacted] I attached pictures of the clients hair before and after serviceI have text messages of correspondence with [redacted] [redacted] had came in a couple days before she wanted her extensions appliedWe had a full Client consultation and I provided pictures of what she was asking for from responding to a post about extensionsI showed her everything I use to apply them as well as pictures showing what they look like appliedShe liked what she saw so she made an appointmentSo I drove to Jantzen Beach Oregon to purchase her hair and applied I think the day after [redacted] left the shop more than happy with her hair! She contacted me Christmas eve requesting to take a row out because it was visible through her hair! I was currently In Tacoma, Wawith family I told [redacted] I can drive a hour and a half back to Longview Christmas morning to remove the row she had requestedOn my way to our appointment [redacted] cancelled our appointment an hour in to my driveSo I was guessing it was not that important to her to get done as it was for me driving that far to cater to her needsI drove back to Tacoma that night to my year old daughters family for the holidays! I received a text Christmas night demanding for them to be taking outI told [redacted] I would not be home for days because I drove a hour and a half back to family as she cancelled her appointment that morningI have proof of all text messages to show these statements are trueI never denied her removal I just couldn't drive that far back on the holidays as I did it for her once and she cancelledI went through all the steps I needed to satisfy my client and she refused them until I drove back to my familyI had to drive to Portland which is a total of a hour drive to get the hair she requestedIf you can respond informing where I can send proof of correspondence that would be great.Thank you Ashlee H***

I am rejecting this response because:I did not have a full consult with Ashlee prior to the install Yes, I came in to see her just because I wanted her to see my hair and make certain my hair hair type would be a candidate for the extensions I was shown pictures of the finished result on another customer I expresses my concern with my having such fine, thin hair and not wanting the beads to show through Ashlee told me she could apply extension all the way to the tip without them showing She then showed me the beads She said the girl in the pic had very short hair and the beads were not visible We did not sit down and go through the procedure, if we had then I would have known that there were many different bead extension methods and I would have made certain that we used the only method that came up when I googled beaded extensions online I would not have agreed to having the method used if I had known before hand When I contacted Ashlee it was two days later on Dec Ashlee lives in Longview and does not require a long drive to return home She told me in her text that I had attached previously, that she would be back from Tacoma on Dec That is when we had agreed to remove the top row, but I became ill and had to cancel I texted Ashlee that same day after I realized what was in my hair! I was very upset and told her it had to come out, that I could style my hair and put it up That not only were the beads and long seam visible at the top of my head but the bottom seams were visible when I tried to put my hair up! I couldn't put my hair up because it came up in clumps The method used by Ashlee was the wrong method for my hair type After telling her the extensions needed to be removed and replaced by the method I originally thought I was getting, Ashlee did NOT offer another appointment to fix it, remove it or offers refund of any kind Even after informing Ashlee that the extensions were running my scalp and burning, she did not offer to remedy the situation Even after I informed Ashlee of my consult with another salon who clearly stated that the extensions were HARMING my scalp and hair, she did not offer resolution Most of my texts went unanswered Ashlee chose to ignore my requests for help and a refund I was forced to spend an ADDITIONAL $FOR REMOVAL BY ANOTHER SALON! Which is the reason I sought help via the Revdex.com and Consumer Protection of WA.Ashlee also states that she had to drive to Portland for the product Is that not what a business does? Do they not travel for education and products? That is part of being in business Not only was the wrong method used for my hair type, but it was installed incorrectly The beads were too close too my scalp and too tight, causing irritation and burning The sections were too big and heavy for my fine, thin hair to handle with so few beads, causing intense strain on the hair and scalp Since my hair is so fine and thin, the seam of the wefts were right against my scalp, causing even more irritation The extension hair type was completely wrong for my hair type The professional hairdresser is to match hair types, to use fine hair for fine hair I returned the product to Ashlee via USPS Priority Mail There was used and unused product that I returned It also proved the low quality of hair used Low quality hair is highly processed and will easily tangle after washing It looks and feels smooth and pretty until it is washed At this point and time, I just want my money back I do not trust Ashlee with my hair I feel she has demonstrated a lack of experience with the use of extensions on people with thin, fine hair The pictures she sent me of the proces s, AFTER my complaint, was that of someone with OBVIOUSLY MUCH THICKER HAIR than mine You can barely see the weft seam in the customers hair How can Ashlee compare that to my hair?

I am rejecting this response because: As Ive already stated, Miss H*** did not offer me another opportunity to fix the original complaint made on 12-23-of the top row being visible I had the flu and had to cancel our appointment The next day, 12-24-16, I told Miss H*** that I needed to remove the extensions because after trying to style my hair in different ways I realized that they were visible from any angle if I put my hair up They were visible from the sides, from the back I also couldnt pull sections of my hair up without clumps of the extensions coming up with it It was then I realized that these extension were not what I had thought they were going to be Miss H*** did NOT offer to remove the extensions or to fix the issue Miss H*** did not offer to refund my money Miss H*** assured me that these would not be visible and that I could style my hair any way I wanted and no one would know I had extensions As you can see from the pictures I sent, after washing my hair, these extensions were plainly visible Of course my hair looked wonderful at the salon and before the fake hair was washed Miss H*** manipulated my hair to look just perfect at the salon while I sat still in the chair But at home, after washing, the extensions became frizzy, easily tangled and were not at all a good match for my fine, thin hair At the salon, before washing, the extensions were soft and silky.I repeatedly messaged Miss H*** but she said that she had done more than enough Miss H*** did not want to admit to using the wrong method and product She did not offer to reschedule the appointment when I had the flu I was forced to travel to Federal Way to a hair extension expert, *** *** to have a consult *** *** told me I needed to remove the extensions ASAP, or I would further damage my scalp and lose more hair *** *** stated that the product used was of poor quality, the method used was not right for my hair type, that the hair was too thick/heavy with only a few beads attached too tightly which was causing stress on my hair/scalp I informed Miss H*** of the burning and discomfort but she still did not offer to correct the issue On fact she ignored most of my texts *** *** was kind enough to fit me in for a removal the same day as my consult Thos cost me an additional $ I spent in total for Miss H***' product, install and then removal by another salon, $410. I trusted Miss H*** when I was told that I would be able to put my hair up and style it any way I wanted I trusted her when she said the beads would be unseen I trusted her to use a quality product and to know how to properly install it on fine/thin hair Not only did she not do so, but if I had not seen *** *** when I had, I would have suffered more damage to my scalp and hair than the little pimples left by the stress of the heavy extensions placed on my thin hair
