I wasn't arguing the fact that they should be compensated if they feel they need to be However, I wash these same towels at my house and the makeup comes out so I am not for sure who does their laundry My complaint is that the charge is excessive But I can see that we won't reach an agreement on this It is probably not the last $I will be swindled out of! However, I know a lot of people who vacation in Estes Park and I will warn them of the unfair charges that this establishment practices Hope they enjoy my $because it will probably end up costing them a lot more than that in the end Thanks for your help in trying to resolve this issue Revdex.com I have already wasted enough of my time and yours!

I was able to dig out [redacted] actual signed registration form. I redacted the personal information. As I mentioned on the phone, we have guests read and sign off during registration that they're responsible for damaged property, damaged linens, and excessive cleaning. This information is in the top paragraphs in the "Important Notice to Guests section."
 
We're a small company. To keep rates low, we don't build into the rental the cost of damaged linens/property or excessive housekeeping. When the issue arrises, we take photos, send them to the guests, and bill them directly.
 
In this case, the extra billing covers our housekeepers doing stain removal, laundering the stained towels, doing stain removal again, and laundering again. In this case, the stains did not come out, so it includes the replacement of the towels.
