Review: I had my heat box in my 2001 jeep grand Cherokee, I paid over 700$ for the part and labor. Two weeks later we tried to turn the heat on and it blew out ice cold air. So we took it back and beaver ford looked into it and said they would order a new heat box because that one was still under warranty. We waited over 3 weeks to get a. Call back from them saying they had received it. We dropped it off for them to replace the broken part they had recently installed a month and a half ago. We got a call yesterday saying it was done but that we also owed them almost 500$ for them replacing the broken part they originally installed. We asked four other mechanics about what we should do, and they all said they put the broken part in we should legally not have to pay for the work. We made multiple phone calls to beaver ford, no call back, and very hard to get ahold of. Finally this morning of 10/16/14 we got ahold of the manager, they dropped the 480$ that we supposedly owed and now sat we owe 100$ for a deductible. Eventhough how can we get charged for a broken part they said would work? Why does the customer double pay? IInstead of the company they received the broken piece from? Please help as we can not afford their mistake!Desired Settlement: I would like to receive 40% of my original purchase, and now this extra 100$ we had to pay them for not only dealing with no heat in 40 degree weather for weeks, no phone calls back, and long waiting time and rudeness from employers.

Review: We went to BD Ford on 4/9/2014 to buy a car - which we did. When it came to the financing part we told them we were prequalified through [redacted] (our bank) and we told them they didn't need to run a credit check. We found out the next day they ran a credit check through Ford! We did not give them permission for this. But it does account to why they requested my wife's check stubs. When we asked why they wanted that they said "I don't know they just are asking for it". Then when they asked us if we wanted GAP insurance we told them yes [redacted] CU said "it was $399". When they brought the papers out to sign the GAP insurance was $799. We asked them why and they said "that's what it came out to". So I told them fine I would go to the bank in the morning and check into it. I went to talked to my bank the next day and they said they'd look into it. They called me a week later and told me that it was Ford's GAP Insurance. They further told me "go to the dealership cancel the insurance and they will give you a check for $799. We were to bring it back to the bank the next day and they would put their GAP Insurance on our loan. My wife and I went that night and told them what the bank had said - they told us we could cancel but they couldn't give us a check - theyd have to credit the account. To date we have not seen a check or credit to the account. I called the dealership this week and they told me they had the money and anytime I came in they'd give me the check. I stopped today (5/15/2014) they said they couldn't give me the check they'd have to give it to Lanmark Credit Union. I'm tired of being jerked around and lied to by them. They have very bad sale tactics.Desired Settlement: I want $799 back asap! They have jerked me around enough. I am also going to email Ford Headquarters and complain out their dealerships business tactics. They treated my wife and I as if we are stupid and don't know any better. They should actually be put out of business.

Response:

We have worked with both the lender and the customer to resolve this issue and unfortunatly the customer was given wrong information at a local branch of [redacted] Credit Union. After taking delivery of the vehicle the customer went to a local Dodge central Credit which was recently bought out by [redacted] Credit union. The local loan officer they spoke to informed them that they could have bought there Gap Insurance for less money and that they should get a refund from us and buy theres. The problem is that once a gap policy is purchased and then canceled the refund would go to the lender and not the consumer, further more Dodge Central credit union cannot put gap insurance on a loan that has already processed. We have spoke to [redacted] credit union and they are in agreement with how we handled the situation. It was the consumer that recieved the wrong information and decided to hold us accountable. the gap cancelation has been processed and the money will reduce the amount owed on there current loan. Because the customer trusted there local bank they would not listen to anything we had to say. I have personally tried to work a resolution out with the customer but was unable to do so. Please feel free to contact me with any further questions.

Review: Received a letter from the a sales agent offering a newer version of my car. Stated they wanted my vehicle. Went in to discuss the offer. Was mislead the whole way thru the process. Was never allowed explanation of the paperwork on the sale. Interest rate was never discussed or offered. The vehicle was forced upon me and my old vehicle was said to be in their possession, leaving no option but to drive the newer one off the lot. In the days to follow I noticed the cd player doesnt work. They took the worn tires from my old vehicle and put them on the new one after being talked into it. The fuel economy that was listed on the sticker is 10-12 mpg less. A very strong odor of gasoline fills my garage when it is parked and switched off and sitting for hours. All of my concerns were literally laughed at and ignored. Every time, 3 occasions now I have gone in to have it inspected I was told there was no issue and sent away. Currently they are scheduled to pick up my car from my place of employment, in exchange for a rental car until the issue is inspected. Everyone who I have dealt with after the paperwork was signed have been far from helpful, very rude and quick to send me away or turn me away for being upset. My other concerns are the impact it has had on my credit score. I have received more than 10 denial letters from multiple lenders. I was tricked into signing for an extra $2000 extended warranty. The payments are $70 plus more than my previous payment on my prior vehicle. I was forced into this deal and feel violated, financially and concerned at the safety of this vehicle.Desired Settlement: I would just like my old vehicle back. If this isnt an option due to the contractual agreements, I would be satisfied with a safe, fully functioning vehicle at no cost to me.

Review: I bought an impala S's from this dealership and they never told me about all the mechanical issues the car had and I expressed how important it was to have a reliable vehicle for my 2 and a half months preemie son. Come to find out 2 weeks after owning it they were aware of all the issues but state they only have to disclose information that the state requires them to inspect and beyond that they don't they refused to give me money back or fix it for free. Then they gave me a Ford fusion and within the month something was broke in the transmission and now I'm without a vehicle and this is the second time they have sold me a bad vehicle. They ignored my calls for over 2 weeks and when I went in there an employee cussed me out. They refuse to do anything with the car and I need a car for work and have no money for another oneDesired Settlement: I would like the money refunded.my husband and I have fallen behind financially due to taking off or work or having to call in due to not having a vehicle.

[redacted] Purchased a chevy that I inteded on wholesaling. the car had mechanical problems and high miles. I stressed to the salesman and salesmanager that I did not want to retail this vehicle to a customer. Because the car looked nice [redacted] still wanted it so I had it safty inspected and she bought it. On a safety inspection Technicians are only required to inspect certain things I explained to [redacted] that When I have a vehicle inspected I wanted inspected more than what the state requires. there were some items that the technician found that were not part of the safty inspection and I did feel that [redacted] could have been better informed but from a customer relation stand point rather than what is required. Because of that I sat down with [redacted] and worked hard to find her a solution. To make sure she felt that she was getting a good deal we settled on ford fusion that had been fully inspected and was already on the lot. [redacted] agreed at the time it was good deal and infact I lost alot of money just trying to a customer happy. The problem that arose with the fusion was transmission related and when I first found out about she said the person who looked at it said they cant believe we sold that and it should have been caught during the inspection. I brought the car in and my senior ford certied technicain look at it and he explained that the part that failed just failed there was no way to know it was going to fail. I tried again to work with [redacted] and though she would know how much I am willing to help but one day the fusion was towed out of here and I haven't heard from her since. I think that I invested alot of time and money in correcting [redacted]s opinion of me and my dealership and don't know what else I could have done. I am sorry she had problems with 2 different vehciles and unfortunalty when you buy cars that have over a hundred thousands miles on them the chances of something failing regardless how good you inspect greatly increases.

Response:

Review: Beaver Dam ford sold us a vehicle without notify us that it was reported as stolen and recovered as stripped. I have not been able to sell or trade this vehicle now because of the flawed title report. I have tried to trade it in and sell it outright and no one will touch it. We were never notified of this stolen/stripped history. That should of been disclosed to us.Desired Settlement: I want Beaver Dam ford to take this vehicle back and pay us fair market price for it.

Response:

I have tried several times to contact mr becker. I was not here when the he purchased the vehicle but I looked into it. There are no flaws on the title. I think he was refereing to the car fax and prior to me taking over I don't think this dealer ship used carfax. If a customer would like to see a carfax it is up to them to request it. Carfaxes generally cost a dealer anywhere from $20-$30 to run with out signing up for there package so many do not run them in adavance. I would be happy to assist him mr becker given the opportunity.

thank you
