Review: My wife [redacted] had a bridge made by this office which proved to be faulty- we waited MONTHS for this bridge to arrive from the vendor they use, only to find that it was completely wrong for my wife's mouth (we went to another dentist and had them examine my wife the bridge.) We asked for a refund, and the owner agreed to refund us $700. The owner made arrangements to meet us (which we found odd, to say the least- why wouldn't they agree to refund us in their office?), and then on her way to meet us, called to say her car had broken down and wouldn't be able to meet with us.....My wife has gone back to the office and patiently waited, over an hour, to speak with the owner (since she will not return our calls.) She was told by the receptionist that they did not have time to meet with her. We are quite at the end of our ropes. We simply want the refund that was promised to us.Desired Settlement: Please refund the agreed upon amount for sale of faulty product.

Review: My dentist had been Dr. [redacted] since I was 4 years old. Dr. [redacted] sold his business in 2008 to a new owner. I had gone a few times and all seemed well. I needed to schedule an appointment recently and the office is closed with no further information available. I have had extensive dental work and surgeries on my mouth over the years and feel that since I must go to a new dentist now, he or she should have access to my medical records, but I have no idea where to even begin to locate her ([redacted]). I'm not sure if the Revdex.com can help me locate where or what she did with the equipment or records, but I would like to have access to them. I believe that [redacted] owned a practice in Grove City as well. It has since also closed down.Desired Settlement: I simply would like to know how or where I can get my 38 years of dental records. I can't imagine that you can close a business without telling patients where to go to obtain records, but I feel it is important to get them.

Review: I went to this dentist based on my insurance requirements to get full set of dentures. I have to say they aren't a very professional organization they put my payment on the wrong account, didn't return my phone calls on multiple occasions, didn't show up to their office or notify me they were canceling my appointment. They removed my teeth and did two fitting for dentures and I paid $700 out of pocket costs for the dentures. After my last fitting They said they would contact me when the dentures came in but it has been several months since I heard from them so I called and left s messages several times in December with no response. SO I called again Friday January 24,2014 and their phone line has been disconnected. I went by their office during business hours which are Monday and Friday only 9 am to 430pm and no one was there. I tried their emergency contact number with no return call. There is no other way for me to contact these people to get my dentures. Not having my dentures is effecting me it is harder to eat.Desired Settlement: I would like these people to be held accountable and to give me my dentures in a timely fashion.

Review: I was quoted a price for dental work (root canal and 3 fillings) over the phone, at a price of $475.00 (out-of-pocket, after insurance). After the work was completed, they attempted to have me pay cash for the work. I opted to use Care Credit to pay for this charge and went on my way. I received an explanation of benefits form from my provider showing the work that was completed and the portion that was paid by my insurance. It also showed the remaining balance, which was the exact amount I agreed to pay with my Care Credit. Weeks later I received my Care Credit statement and found that they had charged me $696. When I called the office to dispute the charges, they stated that there were extra charges for the build-up on my tooth and the extra work involved. I had never been informed of any extra work to be done before, during, or after the work was completed. Also, I received an additional letter from my insurance company stating that Beaver Dental did not submit the correct x-rays to them for the work that was completed. I believe they may withhold payment from the dentist for this, but I am not entirely sure of that fact. When I called Beaver Dental again about this matter, the receptionist stated that the notice is sent to the patient 2 to 3 weeks before the office receives it. I am concerned that I am being overcharged for services and that they have no interest in explaining to me what work was completed in a clear and consider manner. I have made attempts to remedy the situation, but they are unwilling to provide a solid explanation. I also have a lot of trouble getting a hold of them over the phone when calling the office number.Desired Settlement: I would like to have them correct the charges with Care Credit to what was quoted originally as $475.

Review: I had been a patient at Grove City Dental Associates for the past four years. At my October 2013 visit the staff had told me that they would call me to schedule my next six month check-up. I found this a bit odd, as usually they schedule the next check-up during the appointment, but I said okay and figured I would hear from them in March or April. When April 2014 came and I had not heard from them, I started to wonder if I should call. One day, I happened to drive by the office one day and noticed that the front sign was down and a construction crew was there. I stopped at the office and soon realized that the entire office was gutted--all of the dental equipment was gone and it was evident that it was no longer going to be a dental office. I was definitely surprised by this and a bit frustrated that a staff member from the office had not had the professional courtesy to contact patients to let them know that the office was either closing or moving (I am not sure which). I have been trying for the past several months, without any success, to track down someone from this office in order to get my medical records. The organization also had another dental office in Beaver (Beaver Dental Associates), but that phone number is also not working. I am frustrated that this doctor has absconded with my personal medical records, which are confidential and also would be helpful to have as I am now seeing a new dentist. This also does not sound legal from what I have researched--how can a doctor just take patients' medical records? Any assistance you can give me in tracking down my medical records from this practice would be greatly appreciated.Desired Settlement: I would like my medical records returned to me.
