Review: In May 13, 2016 The Owner of Beaer Valley Lawn Service was paid $$8000.00 to install Sod and Mulch to yard, add drainage, weed prevention and plants. The job was started the week of June 20 2016. On June 28, 2016, BVLS was paid an additional $1900.00 for the addition of plants to the landscape. Within two days of the completion of the project a large amount of weeds were growing through the mulch and the Sod was turning Brown. We immediately contacted Dan to fix this issue because we were told that weed prevention would be done to the yard to deter a rapid accumation of weeds. Dan stated that he would come by to look which he never did. We had to call Multiple times to finally get him to actively respond three weeks later he sent his Son AJ to spray some chemicals. AJ admitted that there were alot of weeds coming through the mulch and that one of the workers probably did not treat the area. The chemicals turned a few of the weeds brown but did not stop the rapid growth of weeds. Dan did not lay any protective barrier down under the mulch once he stripped the lawn down. He said that the strong chemicals that he sprayed would be enough. The Sod was laid and several large areas have died even though we have followed all of the directions that Dan gave us to make the sod take hold. Now in less than 1month many of the plants are dying along with the sod and weeds are everywhere. We have called BVLS multiple times with no satisfactory action on the owners part. Dan told us that he would come back after a couple of weeks and follow up, but he never did keep his word. Overall we are disappointed with the overall quality of work and the poor customer service that has been received.Desired Settlement: At this time we want our yard repaired and plants replaced or a portion of our money refunded.
