Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: they need to check there facts, the vehicle has been licensed in the State of Oregon for years the, SO!!!!! you can not tell me for the last four years that it has been in the State of Oregon it has not has a front license plateAlso if you look at he front bumper it does not fit correctly, and the hood is off by 2cm on the left sideas for the licensed plate bracket I never ask for it and its the wrong one anywayI have had several Auto Body, and even the Chevy Dealer, say it's been replacedthe vehicle is back in the shop for the same thing overheating3rd time Sincerely,*** ***

The deal was conducted in a straightforward and transparent mannerThe customer was given $more than the actual value of his traagainst our price that was $higher, so essentially it washes outThe negative equity on the trawas eliminated by doing thisThe interest rate
offered by our lender was aggressive and appropriateThere are situations with different cars where there may be a subsidized rate offered by the manufacturer, but typically the rebate is reduced or eliminated in that caseWe strive for 100% satisfaction, but it is not our policy to allow new vehicles to be returned after the customer has taken deliveryI am able to offer as an act of goodwill a $credit to be used in our service and parts department if that is something that would be deemed helpful

Hello, In response to *** *** request for a refund of $that was billed from Hillsboro Hyundai. When the vehicle was towed in to Beaverton Hyundai for not starting concern we inspected the vehicle and found that the clamps that attach to the battery were loose and not
tightly clamped which would be cause for any vehicle to not start. We tested the battery and determined it needed to be replaced. We replaced the battery, a missing battery bracket and a securing bolt. We retested and vehicle started fine. No other concerns regarding vehicle starting at that time. We did not charge any “diagnosis fee” as Mr*** states. We found an obvious problem with loose battery cables and a bad battery and replaced them. We did not even charge any labor dollar at all to the customer for diagnosis or repair and replacement at all. The only thing we charged Mr*** for was parts only without which his vehicle would not have started. I spoke with Robin F* the service manager at Hillsboro regarding the repair to ask about how our master certified technician installed a battery incorrectly as that is a very low skill type of job and would be unusual. He let me know that the battery was not installed incorrectly and that they found a problem with a ground strap issue under the vehicle and cleaned several grounds because they could not be sure what was causing the intermittent electrical draw. He concluded that it was the ground strap that attaches underneath the vehicle on the transmission far away from the battery was the problematic ground issue causing the draw on the battery which was draining it so they cleaned the contact areas and retightened the ground Although we do believe we are without fault in this matter and the claims are groundless we would be willing to refund the price of the parts charged to Mr*** on invoice *** in the amount of $as a one time customer good will gesture Best regards, Dan M*** Service Manager Beaverton Hyundai *** ***

Stop with "bait and switch" "sleight of hand" they advertised a car with a good price and we go to look at it and the bumper of the car is just hanging there and there was a lot "curb rash" on the car. Hamid comes running out talking a hundred miles a minute and we couldn't understand what he was babbling about. He started showing us other cars (trying to get our buying temperature up) then james harding
general sales manager
gives us a bunch of bs---i told him about a 2018 hyundai elantra sel at another dealer. I liked the car but in order for us to get the discounted price we had to finance through hyundai finance corp (the reviews are horrible 1 star at best, do not go through this company) and I could not put down a large downpayment hyundai finance will only let you put down a certain amount and we could not go through our credit union. But the beaverton hyundai general sales manager tells me that he can get the car from that other dealer and he will make sure I can put down any amount I want. Haha lol hillarious. Oh yeah, the other dealer was not charging me an "etching fee" $399? But james tried to sneak that price in on me. By the way the etching fee is a scam(the dealers etch your vin number on all the windows oregon is going to make this scam illegal for the dealers to charge. Dealers charge anywhere from $200 to $800. They will tell you that if your car is stolen it makes it easier for the cops to get back your car. This is a lie or they will tell you that you insurance will go down this is also a lie. If you want this buy the kit from amazon for $20-$30 and do it your self. I read thoroughly the quote he gave me and it was there. Now he wanted us to make a commitment to the car. Put money down/leave a check etc. I told him I am not doing this until he gets the car and I can look at it and drive it and "poof" all the enthusiasm went out of the "deal" we went into the dealer dec 21 and it is now dec 24 and still no call to come to look at the car. Haha, this was all b.S. Most people are clueless and they don't realize how much you get ripped off! The big smiles blah blah it is all b*llsh*t. I will never do business with them they are crooks and liars and how this dealership gets awards of any kind is insane. I hope anybody who reads this will help you if you go to buy a car from them. This is not "sour grapes" on my part I did not buy a car from them but I saw all the games and b*llsh*t that they do. Beware beware beware if you go to buy a car from them. They are all together as one and they look at you as $$$ they will do whatever it takes-----remember the general sales manager name james harding and his "sidekick" hamid---they are a+ conmen

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
I don’t agree with you. The very first thing I asked for was a diagnostic to be performed. I feel that your company was callous with my relationship, careless, lazy and irresponsible with my vehicle, money and time. Stephen K** was rude and deceitful in his communication and explanation in telling me that there was a diagnostic run on my vehicle when I knew there wasn’t only to have Dan M[redacted] tell me “Obviously, there wasn’t” after having my vehicle for three days. Nor did you address the corrosion where the battery sits, so either you didn’t see it or you didn’t care that it was there, either way it was irresponsible that you just put the battery on top of the corrosion and left it for the next Hyundai dealer to remove and clean up.When I brought the car in you said “Whoever changed the cables and put the battery in, put it in the wrong way.” When it broke down again the next Hyundai dealer we took it to said “Who ever put the cables and battery in put it in the wrong way.” This wasn’t about the money or expense, I asked for the service so I was prepared to pay for the service. I needed to know all that was wrong with my vehicle, and had to break down and get stranded again in the snow and take my vehicle elsewhere to get good service. So no, I am not satisfied with your guest service or your customer car care and service. I will accept what you have offered but make no mistake we have paid off our Santa Fe and were looking to purchase a Genesis but the experience we have had with Beaverton Hyundai over the years has almost made it impossible to trust or purchase your product. The vehicle is currently at a local Chevrolet dealer getting inspected and Ms. [redacted] will be provided a rental car again. The front plate brackets have been mailed to Ms. [redacted]. It appears the vehicle was sold in Michigan when new, and front plates were not required there at that time. We are...

happy to install the front plate if Ms. [redacted] wants us to. I am confident that the Chevrolet dealer will be able to fix the vehicle to her satisfaction, perhaps she can respond after she picks her vehicle up and can let us know.

Due to clerical error the dealership transposed someone else's name into the record of this vehicle. When we realized the error we notified [redacted] and asked them to correct the record. We mistakenly assumed this was done by [redacted] back when we sent the info to them...

(January 2015). We have asked [redacted] to expedite this process and also advised Mr. [redacted]  he may call HMA and have a consumer affairs case opened to assist in getting the process sped up for him. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

Sincerely,
At first , I didnt see any transparent and right facts of what you mentioned . I explained for you that if I need to lose a lot in my car , then I will not buy a new car and you already knew that . You should tell me that your car value is not 11 500( For your information : my car value is 9000 if you look on Kelly blue book and not $ 6000 since the car is a great condition and doesn’t lack from any thing ). I already explained for you that and you screwed me by giving me a false deal while your car was advertised $ 5000 Less . Why I have to lose $ 5000 in 15 month .. You didn’t mentioned either that there are other cars where the interest is lower . Once I told you that I will not buy this car if the interest  given to  me  was  (%4.09) then you reduced it to (%3.09). And I told you that my friend got an interest for her car from a bank (% 1.9) but you told me impossible and you worked for 15 years and you haven’t heard that a bank can give this interest . Seriously , why you have to deceive customers like that .. Eventhoug , I looked at your website and I found that Elantra GT 2018 is advertised on your website starting from %1.9.Be fair, reasonable, and tell the  facts as it happened . You don’t have to give false facts so you can convince a customer to buy a car . You should  take  a business ethics class so you can know how to deal wit customers in a transparent way .

We previously issued a complaint with the Revdex.com, complaint # [redacted]. The merchant stated that they would refund $121.72. This has not happened yet. We request the merchant fulfill their promise. On October 28th we had our 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe towed into Beaverton Hyundai for repair. It had stopped running while I was out running errands at lunch causing me to miss a half day of work. Once we were able to get the vehicle to Beaverton Hyundai we were told there were several things wrong. We have the list at home. We asked what it would take to get it running. Long story short it took 3 days (without a vehicle) for them to call us and tell us that whoever installed the last battery had done it incorrectly and we needed a new one. 2 ½ months later the car won’t start again. This time it as snowing and I had to find some way to get the car into a different Hyundai dealer and some way home. We take it to Dick’s in Hillsboro who calls us right away, lets us know that although the battery is good it hadn’t been installed correctly. The cables needed to be replaced and there was corrosion that hadn’t been addressed. This time the bill came to $254.75. This may seem like a small amount but it has cost me at least 3 ½ full days of work (Approx. $728) and leaving me without a vehicle for close to a week. And trying to deal with extremely poor customer service over a battery of all things. Can you imagine how frustrating, upsetting and aggravating that is?We feel that Beaverton should be held accountable by paying for the additional service fee accrued ($254.75). Had Beaverton Hyundai installed the batter and its components correctly we would not have incurred additional costs to have the battery re-installed by Dick's Hyundai. If Beaverton Hyundai chooses to ignore this claim we will take this to the local media, social media and Oregon Attorney General, Federal Trade Commission, Oregon consumer protection agency, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and local & social media or court. We contacted Dan to let him know that his service department had neglected to complete the job. Dan stated that he felt that his service department did the right thing and there was nothing he was going to do.
