To Whom It May Concern:We received the notice of complaint filed by [redacted] on December 1, 2016. Our response is this - while our pharmacists will give recommendations when asked by customers, it does not imply in any way, shape or form that the product recommended is GUARANTEED to... work by Beaverton Pharmacy. It simply means that in their experience, the product has shown success in treating other patients with similar complaints and they feel comfortable recommending it. Once said product has been opened, seal broken and used, Beaverton Pharmacy's policy is that no refunds are allowed. Further the company/manufacturer information was given to Ms. [redacted] again even though it's on the package so that she could contact them directly to see if 100% satisfaction is guaranteed. Possibly at bigger drug stores like CVS Target, Walmart, Walgreens, etc., they can take back consumable products that have been opened and used. I don't know what their policy is but we're an independent one-store pharmacy that doesn't have thousands of stores to be able to absorb inventory that can't be returned to the wholesaler once it's been opened. Ms. [redacted] can go to another pharmacy that might do that and perhaps a chain/box store would be best. We recommend that she find out their return policy before buying a consumable product, using it and then trying to return it.Furthermore, there's no law or rule that says we have to respond to BBB as if they're a ruling government agency (i.e. Oregon Board of Pharmacy). While we're glad to take the time to address this issue, we plan on sticking to our return policy. If Ms. [redacted] desires further action, she can file a complaint with the board to see if it is valid. We believe wholeheartedly that it is not.Sincerely,Wade and Jennifer I***OwnersBeaverton Pharmacy, Inc.
