•First of all, I am really disappointed about the complainant's statement that claiming we are "rude"...
and the fact was not. However it isn't important.•Second of all, the coupon/voucher that purchased via [redacted] states that on their website •Vouchers cannot be combined with any other coupons, deals, or promotions, •So the $35 facial promotion does not apply to complainant's calculation. The service/voucher which complainant purchased from [redacted] are including Manicure, Pedicure and 1 hour facial service. and the total cost of price is 14 + 23 + 65 and which the total is 102. [redacted] website also states that •The amount paid for the voucher on [redacted] does not include sales, value added or use taxes, which may be charged to you separately by the merchant at the time you redeem the voucher.•The services are total of 102 dollars and in which the tax will apply as the total.•Complainant was really unhappy that she has to pay tax in NYC, However, I believe customer(s) will need to PAY tax in NYC and so do our business.

Review: I purchased an [redacted] Deal for BeBe Nail salon on May [redacted], and redeemed it today at one pm. May [redacted] for a manicure, pedicure and one hour facial. The total deal was $49 (stated a $102 value on the [redacted] Deal website). However, when I walked in, they had a sign saying today's special for facial was $35, Mani-Pedi $20 ($55 total actual value). After my services. I went to use the voucher, which does not state in the "What you need to know" section, that tax is extra, it only states gratuity is (which I paid). The manager saids I owe $9.05. When I showed him the voucher, he scrolls all the way down to the fine print (which you have to click on to read) and it saids, vendor "MAY" charge sales tax extra. He then got rude and aggressive and stating THEY charge tax. Not only did he charge me tax, he charged in on the full price of the services, not what a walk-in customer would have even paid (~ $5). So it became a double insult. I left in tears upset, feeling ripped off trying to treat myself for mothers day (I am a single parent).Desired Settlement: The services were fine, however I feel I should compensated for the full amount of sales tax $9.05 that was misrepresented in the [redacted] Deal (and not in the what you need to know section), plus an additional $10.95 ($20 total) for the pain and hardship it financially put on my this weekend.

[redacted] I am so sorry for the late respond, I have no idea why the complaint is keeping complaining about why she needs to pay tax ([redacted] didn't state that tax is included). As far as I know, sales/service tax is mandatory in New York City. Again, We are willing to refund the tax that complaint has paid, however tax exempt is required.
