Tell us why here...Hi ***, The State of California has a law that requires all contractors to give all ***owners days to decide if they want the work completed. This is strictly to protect the consumer. There may be companies in our industry that do not abide by this law,
however we do. Most repair calls need to be done immediately and therefore waiting days is not an option for most consumers. For these situations, we have a waiver which states that the repairs need to be made sooner than days. These are the forms that you’re referring to (Day Notice, and Waiver of Right to Cancel). This is standard operating procedure for *** service companies, and we had you sign these forms because it is the ethical way to do business and our State law says it’s the ethical way to do business. We provide options for our clients whenever possible. We feel that it’s great service to let people know what options are available. We do not provide breakdowns because we don’t operate like that. Just like when you buy a car they don’t breakdown how much the labor and materials they’re charging you for. *** doesn’t breakdown the cost of the bun in their hamburgers. They charge a fixed price for the whole hamburger. We operate in the same way. The flow tech device that we installed is not sold at *** *** or any retail outlet, nor is it the same thing sold at *** ***. It’s a commercial grade product and we only carry the products that we feel are of the highest quality and have the best warrantees because we stand behind what we install. We have to know we’re backed by reputable manufacturers. If you have any further questions please reach out to me.Sincerely, *** ***

I called out your company to clear a drain that had caused a flood in my downstairs bathroom Your plumber, Luis U, came out within an hour Luis brought in a medium sized snake and ran it through after removing the toilet He didn't want to use the clean out in our laundry room stating that it was too small He charged more than times the rate to do this, on a a Friday, between 9:and 10:am; not a weekend, not a holiday! $525! After all of this, he only ran the snake a short time then quit! He refused to warranty his work stating that there is a blockage Hello! I called your company out to clear a blockage! I could get a snake at Home Depot for $and do what you did! You are supposed to fix the BIG problem, not gently touch it with a snake then walk away with the big bucks! If I can't call a plumber you fix a plumbing problem, then who can I call?
After he finished, he called out a guy he knew to give me advice on the clean up That guy tried to scam me into remodeling my downstairs walls, floors everything! I hope you will NOT call these people

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I disagree with business owner's comparison between a $4,000 flow-tech and a [redacted] hamburger bun. The business is quite capable of providing me with the actual cost of the unit itself. If it did cost me somewhere around $4,000 then providing me with information to support and justify this amount which I feel is excessive. Especially since I had to sign away my 3-day right to make an informed decision. This included a busted pipe under my house that needed to be fixed immediately, which is why Best Services was there to begin with. Quote: "You do want that pipe fixed today don't you?" Now there's unethical. As I said, I shouldn't have had to sign away my rights, no matter how much the owner interprets the law.

I recently hired BEC Electric to help me with an annoying fire alarm issue. Joe G was a really helpful and super friendly technician that solved our problem and took the time to explain everything and also assist us with a secondary issue. I thought the overall costs of replacing the fire alarms was was a little expensive to be honest, but for peace of mind, 20 year warranty and getting things right the first time, it was worth it. I would definitely ask for Joe for electrical related issues.

Excellent work. Our technician [redacted] was professional and did exceptional work. Best Services charges a flat rate on all their work so there were no surprises or hidden charges. I would highly recommend this company for plumbing needs.
