11/07/2016First and foremost we feel it is only fair to inform you *** *** not only contacted you, Attorney General and anyone who will listen including face book where we were told by our tenants, customers, friends and community members that he is slamming us in a very damaging manner with
defamation of our character and good name*** *** will complain to anyone and everyone until he receives the answer he thinks he should have!!!!His father who lived with him has gone so far as to show up at the current tenants location and wanted to sell her keys to her apartment that they were evicted from and ** *** said he turned in ALL the keys!!! The tenant said he just walked in the house like he still lived there and demanded to see damages on the refrigerator and started into her bathroom where she stopped him and said her mother was in thereAll the while continuing to tell her untruthful things about us.....We run two successful businesses in a small community and this is deformation of our integrity, charter and good name,We take personal offense that *** ***, because his expectation of what we should or should not do are meant to his satisfactionWe are entitled to the water bill, sewage bill, and damages entailed while he resided at the residence .Yet he feels that he should have his full security deposit, not pay any damages, and has made you aware of OUR poor business practice...We have a lot more information if needed,RespectfullyProud Business owners,Duane and Patti B

This was two pages and made no mention to the owner's responsibility to replace carpeting or flooring (linoleum).I had also enclosed "Newspaper Ad" which states the apartment's rent included water and sewer. Duane met me while at a public place/retail area and said "We need to talk." He then stated that Helen H***, former Property/Office manager had made a mistake (better spell it right or it will be circled) and that the tenant would be responsible after he pays the first month. So, I could file for reimbursement from this breach of contract. No further documentation was given to me reference this.Relating to the damages being done while moving, I will release my photos when we go into a court of law. Those "damages" were done prior to the move. They happened because the place was not painted and carpeting replaced.As said before, no maintenance was done to the residence. The landlord-tenant relationship became worse when the recent tenant, *** *** moved in and we stated we were looking for a house. As always there's two sides to the story, and it would never be anyone else's fault but mine and my family. *** *** had numerous harassing moments toward us, and all that was said is "She's very ill."Relating to the rental agreement not being updated, I had inquired numerous times and MsH*** stated "You will get the new lease when I get it," so I never asked again due to her snotty/ignorant/non business like attitude. As a result of her negligence in not updating the rental agreement, I am not in loss of approximately a week's rent. 690.00/month / days = 22.26(8)=due to me. MsBechdel stated as it was a month-to-month no rebate was required.As you can see that the root cause of this was disrespect from Patti and Duane, favoritism and partial behavior towards the upstairs tenant, and pure ignorance in not painting or replacing carpeting after it was reported.Any further questions or concerns, please ask.
