We bought a jeep grand cherokee with almost 60,miles on the odometer the sales man said they had alot of money they put in this thing and it was in excellent conditionWhen we had that last bad snow storm my wife used the wheel drive on the back road were we live she got through the deep snow and put it back in wheel drive and went to work on her way home the roads were cleared she didnt need the wheel drive at that timeI got home from work we went somewere in that cherokee I noticed a weird noise comming from the front end.when we got home I checked it out I drove it in the yard to test out the wheel driveWent to put it in all time 4wd and put the vehicle into drive and it wouldnt move and made a grinding noise quickly put it in neutral took it out of full time 4wdTook it to a transmission mechanic to look at itIts been a week and they still have itThey are supposed to let me know by monday whats wrong with itIf everything was in good condition like the saleman said it was then this never should have happenedI have a wrangler had it years now used 4wd alot in the winter and off roading and never had any problems with the transmission/transfer caseThe transmission mechanic told me origionally it could be the transfer case Being bad.good thing I purchased a warranty through my bank I got the loan throughNot real happy now my wife has to drive her old crappy car till they fix the cherokeeWe have only had this thing alittle over months nowI should have known there probley was a reason for a having so low of milesIt must have set most of its life because the previous owner had problems with it as wellNever the less thw car salesman kinda lied to me saying theres nothing wrong with itAlso had a clunking noise from the front of that same vehicle the shop said the busing that was in the dana front axle for the upper control arm was still new but it was loose they fixed it but there again the salesman said theres nothing wrong with itTheres another lie I would say
