Dear Revdex.com,Complaint ID: [redacted] Response to Complaint by [redacted] (herein referred to as "Customer").Customer retained my private investigative services to serve a small claims action to a person we will be referring to as "Respondent" on a suit over a car accidentHe signed a retainer agreement with $as the initial retainer and $75/hour thereafterIt became clear in the beginning that Respondent was evading serviceCustomer was informed that Respondent was hiding in one of two homes and that it would take several hours of surveillance to find Respondent and then serve himCustomer was informed that this would be very costly to run surveillance on two locations and directed me to "do whatever it takes to get [Respondent] served." I was successfully able to find Respondent after hours of surveillanceTo date, I believe that Customer prevailed in his ultimate claim against Respondent for the damage caused by the car accidentHowever, upon providing the bill to Customer, he was immediately upset and refused to paySince then, he has tendered a check for half of what is owedI have currently retained the services of an attorney to assist in the collection of the fees[redacted] www.bbinvestigations.com Private Investigator # [redacted] ***Chula Vista, C91912Phone: [redacted] PO Box Chula Vista Ca(619)755- [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
When I was contacted by *** and informed more time was needed I agreed to additional hours. I would have never instructed him "to do whatever it takes". The very 1st thing I told him in our initial meeting was that I was disabled and on a fixed income. I would never agree to anything that was beyond my means. For him to says this is unethical and untruthful in my opinionWhile he did find and serve the person, I was presented with an invoice for over $more than agreed upon. When I called to discuss the invoice with him I never "refused" to pay. Rather, in the spirit of compromise I attempted to negotiate and reach some sort of agreement due to what appeared to be a misunderstanding. My take away from the conversation was that we would split the bill and I would pay half, even though this beyond what I had authorized. When I emailed him the following day to let him know I had put the check in the mail, he responded that he had not agreed to this arrangementI immediately stopped payment on the check. I reached out to Revdex.com in an effort to obtain assistance in resolving this dispute amicablyFrom his response it is obvious that Mr*** was not interested in an amicable resolution and has resorted to what I consider bullying tactics. I did receive a letter from an attorney threatening legal actionI have since tendered payment of the invoice not because he is right, but because I do not have the means or wherewithal to fight a lawsuit. In the end, I feel I have been wronged and Mr*** has taken advantage of a disabled senior citizen.Thank you,*** S*619-***

Dear Revdex.com,
5pt;">Complaint ID: [redacted]
Response to Complaint by [redacted] (herein referred to as "Customer").
Customer retained my private investigative services to serve a small claims action to a person we will be referring to as "Respondent" on a suit over a car accident. He signed a retainer agreement with $300 as the initial retainer and $75/hour thereafter. It became clear in the beginning that Respondent was evading service. Customer was informed that Respondent was hiding in one of two homes and that it would take several hours of surveillance to find Respondent and then serve him. Customer was informed that this would be very costly to run surveillance on two locations and directed me to "do whatever it takes to get [Respondent] served." I was successfully able to find Respondent after hours of surveillance. To date, I believe that Customer prevailed in his ultimate claim against Respondent for the damage caused by the car accident. However, upon providing the bill to Customer, he was immediately upset and refused to pay. Since then, he has tendered a check for half of what is owed. I have currently retained the services of an attorney to assist in the collection of the fees.
