I called Becker Furniture Repair to come to my home and fix our recliner. They arrived and spent about 45 minutes working on the chair while I was in another room. I wrote a check for $135.62 for the cost of a service visit because they were not able to repair the recliner. A few minutes after they left I realized the hardwood floors were scratched terribly bad in one area. I called them immediately and the woman, Jennifer, told me my floors were already scratched. No they were not. I called my bank to issue a stop payment on the check. About 1 week later, the check posted to my account for $140.52. After spending an hour at my bank today, we have determined they did not physically present the check for deposit, but instead they deposited it electronically (via a cell phone) and used my debit card number to deposit it with! I may have given Jennifer my debit card over the phone to hold the appointment time (I just can't remember for sure), but I did not pay with my card that day, I wrote a check! So, they scratched my floors, didn't use the actual check I wrote them, but instead somehow deposited it electronically for a different amount. Do not use them!

I recently moved from one house to another and in doing so the movers had accidentally damaged my dining room tableThe owner of the Moving Company had me call Becker's furniture repair to have the table repairedI couldn't take time off during the week to meet them but they were kind enough to come over my house on a weekend and fix the tableIt was a pretty ugly scratch on the undersideNot only were they kind enough to come on a weekend but they were so courteous, very professional, very friendly, easy to work with and not only that but they made my table look brand-newIf you have any furniture that needs repair, I wouldn't hesitate to call this company in a heartbeatVery reliable and superb professionalism

Becker Furniture repair did an awesome job and the services were reasonable in costWe thought the motor was bad on our electric sofa, but a few wires were disconnected
and they spliced the wires back to original configurationThey could have said what we
experience in the past with other companies the motor is bad/defective it needs to bereplaced etc
Very nice and professional approach before work till completion of the job

sofa repair job was estimated and bid 12/07/for $+ $for pickup and delivery 40-days to complete days later sofa was returned I had paid $when job was bid to be applied to totalHad to pay over $to get sofa back The finished work was far inferior to the description given upon entering contract The company was almost impossible to contact over the six months, and I was given numerous excuses for the delay Terrible service and sub-standard work product I would like a substantial billing adjustment
