response is accurate... not all of it is. There are discrepancies between Becker's claims and BCBS of IL's claims. Specifically as it relates to his associates speaking to a "live" agent at BCBS as blue cross claims that Becker's agents only went through an automated system and did not inquire about Orthotics which is what their bill code corresponded to.Additionally, the claim about him offering to have me pay and be reimbursed did not happen. The "discount" offered was nothing more than what is charged to insurance. the original bill sent to me was "full freight".I do agree that we have spoken 3 times and that we mutually agreed to have me process an appeal directly with my insurance carrier. we also agreed that this claim would not be sent to collections until we heard back from BCBS (of which I cannot control that timing).
