This is in regars to the complaint forwarded by you regarding a Magazine subscribtion dispute, we received a letter from the Revdex.com with a customer *** *** -Complaint id *** (***)
this customer has stated that he is not
aware of the charge of $on his credit card, I would like to update you on the scenario of this customer who made a purchase for a product from Beckett Media called Dynamic Duo (This includes a one year magazine and online access), this customer signed up from the website last year and made this purchase with the selected terms and conditions mentioned on the website
Whenever any new customer signs up for a membership from our website we make sure he reads the terms and conditions before clicking the check box for acceptence
No, we do not refund Online Price GuidesPlease be sure to look at your order carefully before purchasingCheck for the type of subscription, the length of the subscription, and that you are ok with the cost of the subscriptionThe Online Price Guides are set up for auto-renewal, which can be turned off at anytime by going to My Account and clicking Subsription ManagementSimply uncheck auto-renewal and Save Changes on the page

This customer subscribed to an Online Price Guide monthly subscription for Baseball, at the time of signing up the customer agreed to the terms and conditions of the website and accepted the same by clicking on the acceptance check box, the policies for the website are...

clearly mentioned before making any kind of purchase of any product, only if the customer agree to the policies they get connected to the payment page otherwise it does not go through the payment page, This customer also read and accepted the terms before signing up.
The Online price Guides are non refundable on Auto Renewal according to the policies.

Beckett is terrible. Their online guide is not only user unfriendly but many cards don't even have a price. They auto renew and won't refund the customer when the customer calls to get that changed. bad website, bad customer service.

Review: My wife has a subscription to the Romantic Homes magazine and in December of 2014 her issue did not arrive. I phoned Beckett Media whose operators are in the Philippines, on Dec 23, 2014 and they told me they were sending out another copy. When my wife had not received the issue by Jan 5, 2015 I again phoned Beckett Media and was now told that they no longer had any copies even though these issues are still being sold online.

I was beside myself and asked to speak with a manager or supervisor and they would not put me on the phone with anyone. They just told me that they were going to check and see if they had a copy of the magazine and they would get back to me within 24 to 48 hours.

I was also told that they did not have a corporate office number and just gave me a web address.

So now I am right back to where I was back in December of last year and that is not knowing whether or not my wife will receive the product I have already paid in full for.Desired Settlement: My desired outcome is for my wife to receive the Jan-Feb copy of Romantic Homes magazine from Beckett Media or for them to send an immediate re-reimbursement for the cost of that issue. Beckett Media dropped the ball back in December when the order should have been re-issued so it would only be fair that they make good on that issue and not tell me they will send an extra issue at the end of the subscription. After all, this particular issue is still on-line and can be purchased, so I don't truly believe that there are no more issues available.

I will see how they handle this within 48 hours and will submit another complaint if they have not responded.

Review: I signed up for Beckett Magazine's last year and apparently there was an Auto Renew option when you signed up. After 12 months of service my account was charged $109 with no notice. I received an email notification of the charges after the fact. I was able to access my account immediately and disable the Auto Renewal option and called Beckett Customer Service to inform of the issue and request a refund. Customer service was not helpful at all and informed me there was NOTHING they could do. They were not even willing to work with me at all and stated that the charges were non refundable.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the amount charged. $109

Review: I subscribed to the Beckett Baseball price guide online in December 2013 for 30 days as stated on the website for Beckett Media. I was looking over my charges through Pay Pal and found that they have continued to charge my account monthly since that time. I made sure when I subscribed to pick the 30 day subscription option not the 3 month, 6 month or yearly price.Desired Settlement: I would like my money refunded for the last 8 months which would be $72 that I did not want or use the online subscription since I did not know that I even was subscribed. I contacted the company and was told by an oversees operator that they do not refund online subscriptions. I spoke with the manager and they said the same thing. I also asked for a copy of the receipt that stated this, and they did not supply it.
