Initial Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2016/01/05) */
In response to [redacted] complaint, she is not the registered owner of the vehicle, so I do not have to associate with her on this matter. I gave them ample opportunities to resolve this issue with no luck. When they came up the agreement...

was to bring $150.00 and also the keys to the vehicle. They came up with the money but didn't bring the keys as requested, so I didn't let her take anything from the vehicle because of no keys. I have the legal right to be compensated by the registered owner for the tow and storage charges that accumulated on the vehicle. I tried to work with the registered owner numerous times with no resolution.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 12, 2016/01/10) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
My sister [redacted] had contacted Becks several times trying to resolve the matter. Becks kept on "flip flopping" as in any kind of resolution that would be presented, he would have a completely different kind of response from one day to the next. Not to mention his extreme mood changes and going from being calm one day to yelling at us and saying that he doesn't have to follow the rues or laws and was completely unprofessional. Yes, he did call and tell us that if we bring 150.00 and the keys to the car that I would be allowed to grab my belongings. We stressed the fact several times on different conversations that I did not have the keys and that they were left in the car when it got towed. He even sent me the police form/inventory that stated that the keys were with the car. The car should've been inventoried, and locked for no one to go in or out of it. Becks went thru all of my personal belongings thru out the entire vehicle, even in the trunk of the car, several times Becks refused to allow me to see the vehicle and view my belongings just to be sure they were still in fact there. He refused to allow me this. He also refused to give me my D.L. and other cards such as my EBT card, my Vanilla/pre paid debit card and my Salvation Army vouchers, etc. He also had personal belongings on his person when we went to pay the 150 , that he removed from the vehicle which was not at the location in which he said to go to. Becks also gave us a time frame in which to contact them or everything would be forfeited. He then made himself unavailable for over a week of this timeframe. Called us on the last day, which was a. Sunday and changed things up again saying we needed to pay the tow and 1200 in order to get my personal belongings out he was extremely rude and impossible to talk to. I do have recordings of Becks and [redacted]'s conversations to prove my side. We told him several times that I was homeless and was living in that car and literally everything I still owned was in the car. And all I wanted were my clothes, D.L., phones, mini IPad, etc. His response was that he didn't care about the laws and he was done dealing with the car and to sue him. And if we wanted my personal belongings then we would have to pay over 1200 plus for the tow. This man was very rude and impossible to talk to. He played multiple games with us like knowing we didn't have a vehicle, and knew I was homeless and gave us less than 24 hour notice of yet another one of his "agreements" stating we had to be there in Pine Island by 10am, with 150$ plus the keys (which he knew we did not have) to the vehicle. The demands were unreasonable and not possible and he knew this. This man has even went as far as to tell us that my cards that I talked about in this response , that were in my purse on the passenger side floor board were now not in my purse but taken out and placed in the glove box. Why? What did he do with my purse and all of my other belongings that were inside of the purse and why was he removing them from the purse? Is this proper protocol? And these things were done before the date of forfeiture. None of these belongings were his to dig thru and take. Everything that he did was done illegally. He did not follow proper procedure with anything during this whole time. It was my legal right to view the vehicle and its contents to clarify that everything was still accounted for. He refused. Legally with being homeless and or being on any kind of assistance should've automatically waived any fees and my personal belongings inside the car /trunk should've even given back free of charge. He refused. He changed his story multiple times . Becks showed an extreme lack in communication skills, professionalism, and humility. He was rude and impossible to talk to and refused to come to a agreement. Now, since he is claiming that he does not have to talk to me about this then I'm prepared to have to he actual registered owner of the vehicle file reports because he didn't send anything or make any attempts to let them know about the vehicle.and he knew as did the police that the vehicle had not been transferred into mine or my sisters name, and they had no problem with it before, until Becks felt he could use that fact as part of his excuse as to why he wouldn't comply with any of the proposed resolutions I also have a necklace of an owl that my son gave to me as a gift and is very important to me. I'm asking for that back as well like I stated before that literally everything I owned was in that vehicle. I don't know how someone can go thru their days doing things such as this to people who have already lost everything and refusing to allow one to have possessions that are all of what is left that they own and dig thru and keep it all. I just wanna resolve this and am trying to remain civil and am trying all different options.Mulltiple chances re being given here . I'm prepared to get my story out to anyone who will listen. Anyone.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 19, 2016/01/13) */
You can pick up your belongings from inside of the car and be done with all of this for $175 cash, by end of business on Friday 01/15/2016. If that does not work, you must respond to the Revdex.com by end of business on Friday when you can come to get your things. Please remember that I do not have keys to get into the trunk, I've never had keys for the trunk, and can't help you get stuff from there.
[redacted]confirmed via phone.
