Review: In April 2013, [redacted] (which is affiliated with [redacted] provides all lease administration and negotiation for [redacted]) intended to lease space in [redacted] Samson Management (the office location was at that same address), and a $1,500 Pinkerton check (for the first month's prepaid rent) was sent on 4/**/13 to, and was cashed on 5/**/13, by [redacted] A/A/F. The lease was never executed because the intended landlord was not promptly responsive to facilitating the transaction (and finalizing that lease), and PGS out of necessity had to renew its leasehold in Melville in order to keep its branch office "in business".

We have repeatedly demanded the refund of that $1,500 payment, because Samson had absolutely no right to cash the check in the first place, and did not consummate the transaction that that prepaid rent would have been applicable to. These demands include emails that were sent to Samson's B[redacted] on 1/**/14, 11/*/14, 11/**/14 by Andrea B[redacted] at [redacted] (she works in my department); an unreturned voice message that Andrea left for Samson's Controller, Nancy C[redacted], in December 2013; emails sent by me 11/**/14 and 12/*/14 to [redacted], J[redacted], Esq. of [redacted] requesting her assistance in imploring her client to make the refund (which she committed she'd do); a 9/*/15 letter written from our inside legal counsel ([redacted]) to [redacted] on 9/*/15 (for which we received a "read receipt" from him and [redacted], but no reply); and a follow-up voice mail message that Jennifer left for [redacted] later in Sept. 2015. We have not been contacted by anyone, and more importantly, have not received the refund.Desired Settlement: A refund of the $1,500 due [redacted] with the check sent to the following address:
