Our service tech was out to the home and diagnosed a seized motorhe applied a small amount of oil and spun the motor to try to free it up to run until we could get a new one. When the customer called on the weekend they talked to another service tech who was trying to reach the first tech to
see if he had obtained the motorEvidently there was a lack of communication which resulted in no service at that time.I was sent a copy of a hand written note from the customer which was supposedly an invoice with no prices, no business address, and no license number (required by Ohio) saying it was drenched in oil (not true)it also stated that is what made the board malfunctionOil on the motor would not affect the control board.After a second conversation with the customer stating the fact of no price and license number I received another letter with a copy of another handwritten note with pricing and license (still no business address) and a demand to pay this or they would have their lawyer contact me..If the customer wants a refund of the $we would send them a check in that amountWe will not refund any amount for another company
