I would definitely not recommend this husband and wife business. First, they lied about their Revdex.com membership which had expired at the time I called the Revdex.com. Second, they had no business or mailing address on their business card. Third, they lied that I would receive the sale proceeds on the very next day after the item sold. Fourth, they said that they would take a deposit from a customer to "hold" the item which would allow the customer time to back out the next day with the item being unsold. Fifth, when I asked for their ID's, her husband acted insulted and refused to email or text me a copy before the week of the sale.
The comments made by Mr *** are false. We were in the process of renewing our Revdex.com membership in February and were waiting to hear from them. We had to talk with the clerk's boss to resolve our questions and our membership has been renewed. We have an excellent rating with the Revdex.com and have received awards from the Revdex.com as the Best Estate Liquidation Company in Houston. We do not include an address on our card as most Estate Sale Companies as we work out of our home and do not want people or criminals coming to our house. We did give Mr *** our home address. We told Mr *** that we would pay him the day after the Sale is over. Please note most Companies do not pay for several weeks. We never told Mr *** that we took deposits to hold items, which may not sale the next day. Mr *** wanted Becky and I to e-mail him a copy of our Drivers licenses to him, which I said no as I will not send copies of our indifications over the internet for obvious reasons. I did tell Mr *** we would show him our ID's on Monday when we showed to work. The last straw was when Mr *** told us that he wanted our personal information so he could go against our Estate if both Becky and I died in a car wreck before he was paid. I told him that such comment was offensive and he obviously did not trust us. I told him we would agree to mutually terminate our Agreement if he consented and he agreed. I told him I would send him an e-mail terminating the Agreement and for him to confirm it by return e-mail, which he did. I was surprised when the Revdex.com told us he filed a negative comment about our Company. We have been in business for 20 years and normally deal with very nice people. Mr *** is the most paranoid person we have met and turned around everything we told him.
