service department manager, [redacted] contacted [redacted] on 07-10 and they spoke on 07-13-15 regarding her complaint against Beco Inc. It was discovered through this call that the customer spoke with one of our employees who has since left the company regarding this billing issue therefore our service manager was not made aware that an agreement was reached, our typical time frame for handling items such as these is with a sense of urgency with our customers being our first priority. This entire situation was explained to Ms. [redacted], the agreement that was reached with our former employee was discussed and a new agreement was reached between our service manager, Mr. [redacted] and Ms. [redacted].
The agreement reached is in line with the customers desired resolution as stated in her complaint and is as follows: Beco Inc. will write off the $195 bill and credit the $50 payment that was made by Ms. [redacted] towards the second bill amount of $1,219.36 instead. Our billing department will then generate a new bill/statement showing the balance owed ($1,219.36 minus the $50 already paid) so that Ms. [redacted] will be able to see the $195 has been written off and will have a current balance owed in her possession.
We hope that we have handled this issue in a satisfactory manner for Ms. [redacted] and that she will accept our apologies that the situation was not handled more timely. It is always our goal to put the customer first and to address any concern a customer may have with our work including but not limited to the services they received or the communications before/after service.
