Dear [redacted],
Following please find my response to [redacted]’s submission. Before I respond to specific points I would like to bring to the forefront one specific issue. [redacted]’s first contact with Beco was a phone call on June 13th. Her first showroom visit was the...
following day with a job site measurement occurring the next day on Sunday, June 15th. The reason for the speedy action was [redacted]’s desire to have the project completed before August 15th. I believe her husband was set to return from abroad on that date. I told [redacted] on all contacts (in person and over the phone) that her flexibility in product choice and her promptness in product selection was paramount in meeting the completion date. I could not ensure an August 15th completion without having all materials in Beco's warehouse by August 1st. Many products (i.e. saucets, mirrors) Beco can be procured within a day or so. Some, like tile, a week. However, cabinets take at least 4-6 weeks to be produced and I needed decisions made and adhered to if success was going to be achieved. This did not happen as I will demonstrate later.References will be made to the highlighted area of [redacted]’s submitted letter.
> I agree to the first point. I personally said that [redacted] needed a budget closer to $25,000 to complete the project she was considering. I disagree that we did not talk about room size. It would be impossible for me to give her an approximate cost without an understanding of the layout of her two rooms.
> I agree to this highlighted section. A budget of $25,000 was set and our design retainer is completely applicable to the cost of the project.
> [redacted] was told costs of labor and products. However, early on in the process it is very fluid. Changes are constantly being made as the final project is being cemented. [redacted] refers to being shown list prices of selected items. Our system is set up to show list prices when reviewing products and to discount pricing when computing a final price. This was continually talked about in [redacted]’s and my meetings.
> I did tell [redacted] that her selections were causing her pricing to slightly exceed her budget. She was unwilling to change from her [redacted] [redacted] selections. It wasn't until July 16th that [redacted] finally agreed to change her cast iron tub choice to one I had been recommending for weeks.
> I agree with information pertaining to June 13th —June 16th. What was not mentioned is that the vanity selected on June 16th was later changed. I was notified of a desire of this change in early July and the final selection for the vanity was selected on July 12th. The stain of the vanity was changed once more on July 16th (evidenced by the hand written change on the contract).
> [redacted] and I visited [redacted] on June 23th. However, much like the vanity cabinet, this selection was later changed and finalized on July 12th.
> Final product selection did occur on July 12th. It was mentioned to [redacted] again that her selections were making it difficult to meet her $25,000 budget and that the vanity would not be delivered in time to complete her bathroom entirely by August 15th.
At this point I must interject one item, my vacation. From the June 15th measure of [redacted]'s rooms until the July 16th contract signing, I continued to bring up my (July 18th to August 8th) trip to Italy. All things needed to be finalized before I left because any subsequent changes were going to be difficult.
> Regarding the July 16th meeting I agree that [redacted]'s selections resulted in a final figure of $26,300.00. However, at that meeting, changes were still being made, as evidenced by the hand written “corrections” that made the final price $25,700.00. Also, I stated that $25,000.00 could still be met with just a few more changes.
> Beco does not, as a practice, detail the cost of every item and all labor in our contract. [redacted] never asked me for it. We, obviously, need to compute it to arrive at a final price; however, our clients come to us for a complete room, not individual items. We don’t supply it and look at it no differently than a car company not detailing the cost of a steering wheel.
> I agree regarding the vanity date. I tried to make it painfully obvious that [redacted]’s decisions, particularly regarding her cabinetry, made it impossible to fully complete her project by August 15th. We could finish all other aspects but the vanity area would have to wait until the product was produced.
> [redacted] did not sign the contract on July 16th but instead left, with the contract and drawings, promising to return on the 17th to finalize.
> Beco does agree to remove debris on page 1 of the [redacted] labor section of the contract, top of the page, just under the labor heading.
> I apologize, if [redacted] was asking for an updated drawing on July 18th, I didn’t understand. I thought by her emails that she was looking for resolution to three items. As can be clearly seen by the dating of the accompanying emails:
> [redacted] to Tim P[redacted] July 17th 10:24am:
[redacted] informed Tim P[redacted] she wasn’t coming. She documented the three issues.
> Tim P[redacted] to [redacted] July 17th 11:29am:
Tim P[redacted] expresses a desire to rectify her concerns.
> [redacted] to Tim P[redacted] July 18th 6:24pm:
[redacted] acknowledges email and repeated calls and references “derive the design service properly for this moment” and that I should understand what she needed.
> Tim P[redacted] to [redacted] July 18"7:49pm:
I tried to be specific reiterating her three points.
Clearly I showed a willingness to resolve [redacted]’s issues. My email responses were very prompt. Unfortunately, a few hours after my July 18th email to [redacted] I was on a flight to Europe and the ability to continue communication was spotty at best due to poor internet service. In addition, [redacted] has kept all contract information and drawings.
I feel bad that [redacted] is not happy and doesn’t feel satisfied. Beco, and more succinctly, I tried desperately to make her happy. I personally put in many hours of work on her project as well as the design and support staff. I feel very justified in Beco keeping the design retainer to offset some of the costs, since it can be shown our willingness to have not gone down this path, our desire was and is to deliver a project, two rooms, of which both parties would have been proud.Sincerely,
Tim P

Beco delivered the design with this contract together as well;
I was so surprise with the design from the company with 100 years design experiments;
It just likes a high school student's homework with 4 page drawing;
After I saw this design, I even could not figure out what items should be installed in my bathroom;
Beco's design result was 4 pages, I even could not figure out what items should be installed in my bathroom;
If a company offers some service to a consumer which is useless, should consumer pay for it?

My goal is to have my $1500.00 money back;
Regards,[redacted]
We had a kitchen installed recently by Beco. From start to finish it was easy and exciting. The choices for all products such as cabinetry, counter tops, flooring and back splashes made it easier to decide. Once the project was started it was a pleasure to work with professionals who finished on time and on budget. Cooking and hanging in our new kitchen seems to have brought new life into our house and we would and do recommend Beco to anyone who asks about our new kitchen.

It also has some alternate Business Names:
One is Beco Distributors, Inc.
Another one is Beco Kitchens & Baths, Inc.
In below, I use Beco for short name of "Beco, incorporated";
Who I deal with: Mr. P[redacted], Beco's owner
My name is [redacted];
My address is [redacted], NJ [redacted]
My phone number is ###-###-####
I was planning a bathroom remodeling project in my house in June, 2014;
This plan includes two bath rooms remodeling;
One is a hallway bath room in second floor; it is about 8.5'x 5';
The other one is a powder room in first floor; it is about 7'x3.5';
They are pretty smaller;
Revdex.com Code of Business Practices is very fair:
The values that Revdex.com commit to are very impressive;
Therefore, Revdex.com has an excellence reputation;
As a consumer, I thought Revdex.com is a fair system, I always trust Revdex.com so much;
Therefore, I picked Beco from Revdex.com web page as my bathroom remodeling contractor on 2014-06-15;
Beco has an A+ grade in Revdex.com web page;
In the first time, Beco asked me at least to have $25000.00 budget, then Beco will work on my project;
Beco did not talk to me about bath room size; Beco did not talk about what items need to be installed in my bath room when Beco asked for my budget;
I knew the price was a little higher;
I also knew that I would pay less money, if I hired someone else who is less expansive;
At that time, I trusted Revdex.com, I wanted to use a better contractor, and it was OK for me to pay a little more money;
Therefore, I agreed to prepare $25000.00 budget for this project;
Beco asked me to pay $1500.00 for bath room design first; Beco asked me to sign a paper as well;
Beco also said the money will credit to my total budget of $25000.00 if I shop a bathroom with Beco in 6 months;
I thought that I need to start the first step;
In Beco web page, Beco claim that it has 100 years design experiments;
In Beco web page, Beco also claim that it has been in bath and kitchen design business for more than 50 years;
I should not have a problem; At least, I will have a design from Beco;
I did not hire Beco before;
I did not know how the process would be;
I only knew, Beco has a Revdex.com A+ grade;
Therefore, I paid $1500.00, and signed a Beco contract for design;
However, after talking and working with Beco for 30 days, I am so disappoint with my decision;
Beco never told me clearly, how much is labor; how much is products;
Beco never told me clearly, what tasks are included in the labor charge;
Beco always shown me a list price of my selected item;
I was so worry about these points; therefore, I tried to search from web, to select items;
I got these web pages address from [redacted] search, none of them was from Beco;
I tried to list all of tasks and some of selections in my emails;
I told Mr. P[redacted], if my selections were exceeding my budget, please let me know, I will make a change;
I kept sending emails to Beco;
In these emails, I asked that Beco should review all of items with me together before my project is started;
I sent at least 9 emails to Beco for task list and item list for my project;
The last email was sending on 2014-07-14;
The design from Beco during 2014-06-13 to 2014-07-16 is listed in below:
-I called Beco show room for first time on 2014-06-13; Mr. P[redacted] called back, he invited me to see Beco’s show room;
-I visited Beco's show room and talked with Mr.P[redacted] for 30 min on 2014-06-14;
-Mr. P[redacted] visited my house on 2014-06-15; He did measurement, and collected $1500.00 check#[redacted];
-I visited Beco's show room for 10 min to pick vanity door style and color on 2014-06-16;
-I went to [redacted] along for select tiles; a store was introduced by Mr. P[redacted] on 2014-06-18;
-I visited Beco's show room for 10 min on 2014-06-21; Mr. p[redacted] was not there;
-I went to the [redacted] manufacture with Mr. P[redacted] for selecting counter top on 2014-06-23;
-I visited Beco's show room, to review the selection prints with Mr.P[redacted] on 2014-07-12;
-I visited Beco's show room and Mr.P[redacted] was there for sign a contract for about 40 min on 2014-07-16;
-I sent 9 emails for item selections and tasks need be done to Mr. P[redacted]; I guess that he read them;
Finally, Beco shown me the contract on 2014-07-16 in Beco’s show room;
In this contract, Beco raised the budget to $26300.00 without tell me in advance;
In this contract, Beco did not tell me clearly, how much is labor; how much is products;
In this contract, Beco mentioned that worker will work in my home for three weeks, from 2014-07-22 to 2014-08-15;
In this contract, Beco promised to finish my project on 2014-08-15, but vanity would not be installed;
Beco did not let me know if vanity was not installed, then countertop, sink, faucet, mirror, light would not be installed as well;
In this contract, Beco did not include all of tasks that I listed in my emails, for example, to remove debris;
In this contract, Beco ignored to review all of delivered items with me together before my project is started;
In this contract, Beco even changed my "Hallway bath room" to "Master Bath room";
Beco delivered the design with this contract together as well;
In this design, Beco marked the design is for "Master Bath room";
After I brought this contract to home and I read it carefully, my first thought was that I need to make some thing clear to Beco;
However, I found out, the contract is very hard to be corrected;
In this contract, Beco ask me to sign for do not look for court if there is a problem;
In this contract, Beco ask me to sign for any verbal does not count if there is a problem;
This means whatever I talk to Beco, whatever I write down in my emails that have been sent to Beco, my project will be done as Beco's contract;
Beco charge $26300.00, but it did not include all of tasks of my project;
I was so surprise with the design from the company with 100 years design experiments;
It just likes a high school student's homework;
After I saw this design, I even could not figure out what items should be installed in my bathroom;
I requested Beco to deliver a design with a better quality by an email on 2014-07-18;
Beco did not take care of this request at all;
I asked for money back on 2014-07-24 by an email;
Beco did not take care of this email as well;
I noticed Beco that I will file a complaint to Revdex.com after 2014-07-31 by sending an email on 2014-07-31;
Beco returned this email, and mentioned that settlement in early August;
I noticed Beco that it should set an accurate date, I will file a complaint to Revdex.com after that day;
Beco did not take care of this email untill 2014-08-04;
I noticed Beco that I will file a complaint to Revdex.com after 2014-08-10 as Beco mentioned that settlement in early August;
Beco did not take care of this email untill 2014-08-09;
In this business practice of my case, consumers could not know what would be offered by Beco before the contract is signed;
But Beco asked consumers to sign a paper and pay $1500.00 for design first;
Consumers trusted Beco because it has a Revdex.com A+ grade; then paid the money and signed the paper for design;
After consumers saw the contract and the design result, consumers did not want to continue;
However, there was no a completed design;
I am not satisfied with Beco's design for my project;
Since I do not trust Beco, I do not want to continue work with Beco;
My goal is to have my $1500.00 money back;
Through my experience with Beco, I feel that I am hopeless and helpless;
If I stoped now, I would not get a usable design;
If I did not stop here, the next contract of Beco is $26300.00 charges;
If I did not stop here, I would not know how much the final charge is;
Even I agreed to pay $26300.00; some of tasks that need to be done for my project are not included;
I live with my husband together in this address;
We are senior citizen; I and my husband are over 65 years old;
We are still working hard to pay tax for this country until now;
We are working hard also for retirement;
Every dollar that I made is from my finger to type each button on a keyboard in every day;
I usual work from 9:00AM to 6:30PM for each day, from Monday to Friday;
Sometime I even work for longer time from 9:00AM to 8:00PM;
Sometime I work over time during weekend;
I understand that we are very soon no longer able to work so hard;
When that time is coming, our income will be less;
This time I deal with Beco along;
My husband is in business trip during 2014-05 to 2014-09;
I did not discuss with him through phone calls or emails;
Therefore, I have a big pressure for this result;
I spend some money is not for gaining unhappiness;
I am not a matched counterpart with Beco;
If Beco thinks that my project is too small, Beco should not ask me to start with them;
Why Beco want me to pay $1500.00 with no result?
The money seems for buying tickets to see Beco's show room;
I know a lot of companies have their show rooms in some public streets;
They are free for consumers to visit;
Just like consumers visit [redacted]y's store, they do not need pay for walking in;
Consumers also do not pay, if they want talk to someone who is working inside the store;
The worker will introduce products in store with no charge;
From my case, just like I bought a well decorated beautiful bag of nuts, when I opened the bag and tried one piece of nut, only I knew how the taste of this piece of nut in my mouth was;
Some companies may use Revdex.com A+ grade to attract consumers and in order to gain more business;
However, they may not use "Revdex.com Code of Business Practices" to run business and to treat consumers;
They use Revdex.com's name, but they may not care the Revdex.com's reputation;
In order to make money, merchants could do anything immoral under a legitimate banner;
If no one redresses it, they will tarnish the Revdex.com's reputation;
The interests of consumers will be violated;Desired Settlement: I am not satisfied with Beco's design for my project;
Since I do not trust Beco, I do not want to continue work with Beco;
My goal is to have my $1500.00 money back;

Review: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
In the first time, Beco asked me at least to have $25000.00 budget, then Beco will work on my project;
