My office received a call from reference Customer requesting our service to install a Kitchen Sink and Faucet provided by the customerMy Son was dispatched to make the installation.The following conditions and warnings were explained to me by my Son who has workedin the Plumbing Trade for yrs The existing Sink was installed with an adhesive material by the Modular manufacturer which adhered to the Sink and to the Formica Counter Top, and there were excessive amount adhesive Caulk around the Sink Rim.The Sink opening was not cut square in the counter top causing the sink to be forced in during the initial installationMy son informed me that he told the Customer beforehe began to remove the sink that the Counter Top may chip because of the adhesive typecaulking used to install the sink, the Customer told him to do what you have to doHe again warned the Customer three or four times as he began to remove the Sink that the material used to install the Sink could cause the a problem with the counter top chipping.He did not use a Crow Bar in an attempt to raise the waged in Sink as he tried to cut the adhesive from under the Sink, he did use a flat small nail puller in an attempt to get a knife under the Sink to cut the adhesive from the sinkSincerelyWLHarperPresident
