Review: We purchased furniture items that have not been delivered going on 60 days. Merchant refuses to deliver remaining items and/ or refund money for such non-delivered items.Desired Settlement: For merchant to refund items that he clearly cannot fulfill.

Review: I purchased a closet, a desk and 2 night stands from this shop. I was going to buy the night stands at ikea, since they were cheaper, and install them myself but the salesperson told me to buy it from them. He said that if I install furniture myself, then the boss wont cover anything if it is damaged during installation. Agreeing to these terms, I proceeded to order the furniture. When I had it delivered on Saturday, the boss sent only one installation guy for a 3 hr job (usually shops send more.) The installer, damaged the finish on both my closet and my desk. He asked to borrow a knife in order to cut the boxes open, I gave it to him as per his request, not realizing that the boxes were labeled "not to be cut by a knife." After installation, I pointed the scratches out to him and he said "dont worry about it, Ill touch it up tomorrow" (why would I want touched up furniture when I paid for NEW furniture.) After he left, I ran a light on the desk. The desk was filled with hundreds of microscopic scratches, scratches that could have only appeared after use or very serious neglect by the installer ( he had all his tools on the desk as he was installing the furniture.) In addition, the inside of the doors of the closet had scratches starting from the hinges (his hand must have split as he was tightening some of them.)

The next morning to call the installer and ask when he will come for the touch up, he said maybe monday. I then went to go speak to the owner of the store and he denied fault for the mistake. I explained to him that it wasn't my fault and showed him pictures. of all the scratches. He denied fault and said that he wont cover it. He will just touch up, I explained that he needs to replace the damaged panels, as per his salesmans promise but again he refused.

The following day, I spoke to the salesman again and he again assured me that the store has to replace the pieces. He had me talk to the [redacted] ( he was at another store so I called him) who immediately refused (without even listening to what I have to say.) He kept saying "listen to my words, I said no." . I then went back to the salesman who told me to go see the [redacted] in person and I did. The [redacted] saw the pictures of the situation and said he didnt see any scratches, claiming that all the furniture automatically comes with gashes!!!

Finally, the salesman agreed to come and look at the scratches. All I had to do was pick him up at a 8pm and drive him to look at the scratches. After a week of calling him and him not being able to come by, I offered to bring the desk over myself. I packed the desk and parts that needed to be touched up in my car (its a small car) and drove them over to him. Once he saw the scratches, he said they were no big deal and I shouldnt' worry about them, nobody is going to see the gashes. Again I bought NEW furniture not furniture that needed to be repaired.

After some arguing, I agreed to meet him halfway and just have him touch up the closet gashes, but the top of the desk needed to be replaced. He said it wasn't possible due to the fact that I damaged the top when I brought it to him (it shouldn't matter because the desk needed to be replaced anyway due to the top scratches.)

Over all a terrible experience, spread over the period of a month. I will seek a replacement for the desk by the end of the week or I am filing a small claims court case for the refund of both the closet and the desk. I will also make sure to post on every review site and the Bay Ridge Parents page about my experience with the store.Desired Settlement: Replace the top of the desk.

Review: BOUGHT FURNITURE ON 10/**/2013. IN 3 WEEKS RECEIVED PART OF IT AND THE DELIVERED PART WAS DEFECTIVE. UNTIL TODAY 11/**/2013 I'M GETTING FALSE PROMISES FROM THE STORE TO DELIVER THE REST AND EXCHANGE THE DEFECTIVE PART. I ALREADY MISSED 3 WORK DAYS RELYING ON THESE FALSE PROMISES.Desired Settlement: TO RECEIVE FULL REFUND ($1100.00) AND BE REIMBURSED FOR THE MISSING WORK DAYS ($750). tOTAL OF $1850.00.

Review: Almost 2 months from order placement have not received order. Was told on 5 different occassions delivery will come that day, but nothing. Was told once order in warehouse, several times order on truck, several times they only have 1 truck & are too busy, once that they came but was too late, etc. Salesman/owner lied on multiple occassions once stating he does not know when containers are coming in nor what is on them, stated item is on backorder (called manufacturer who does not have item in stock & will not possibly for few months!). Several friends that ordered from there waited months as well, after being told 1-2 weeks at most. Went to store waited until 11:30 for them to open (sign says open at 10), salesman again said will deliver in 2days, I ask how if manufacturer no longer makes it, he shows me picture of a totally different item that I "ordered" while I have from his book a picture of what I ordered. Store is a 1 man operation whom is a liar in every way possible, does not deliver or does bait & switch & is very disrespectful! How can someone like this sell legally? I found info on his old location store of customer complaints stating the same things!
