I received your letter concerning [redacted] and her concerns over her purchase. Her complaint should not be with Bedding Hotline, Inc. however. She has a warranty claim with the manufacturer, Simmons Bedding Company, Atlanta, GA (www.Simmons.com) to which we have only tried to aid her...
to resolve her issue. I am enclosing a copy of the email showing the number of contacts, 34 in all, where Bedding Hotline has intervened on [redacted] warranty claim with Simmons Beautyrest.
I am enclosing another copy of [redacted] paperwork and the "Terms and Conditions of Sale" showing the warranty comes from the manufacturer and we assist with claims, not fulfill them. We are not willing to give [redacted] her money back, we have serviced her account, provided all we promised and assisted with warranty as we are required to do by our contract. I don't know what I can do for her but I am concerned and have yet again contacted Simmons on her behalf and asked them to complete their
warranty service as specified
Review: I bought a mattress from this vendor on Nov 22/13 by Dec 22 I had problems with this mattress,I ask the vendor to file a claim for warranty after Simmons, the maker of this mattress told me over the phone that warranties have to be filed through the vendors.Later the person who sold me the mattress told me I have to do it myself so I did.As of today March 16,2014 I have never received an official invoice so I ask them for proof that I was the owner of this product and they forward to me an Excel page with some information part of which was wrong as my name,e-mail address,name of city where I live and I filed the claim but now I do not want a mattress from Simmons because of the poor quality of this $1749.00 which they told me is the best mattress they have.the vendor representative stated to my credit card that they won't refund my money because is not their policy and suppossly they told me over the phone but they never make a note of this information in their excel page(Invoice for them?)but this information was never disclose to me either by phone or in writting.After sending a specialty technician in mattresses to measure the sagging and take pictures of how this mattress look,They just want to give me an exchange for a mattress of similar price and I cannot trust simmonds brand any more.Desired Settlement: I want the refund of my money to be able to buy another decent mattress.I am asking for this because in good faith I sign for this transaction and for lack of good faith they fail to disclose to me that they do not give refunds,and if that is their policy why they do not have that information in any paper that they send to their buyers.
