I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
However, the business knows that I wrote out the instructions for their original delivery because although my husband was home he suffers from Alzheimer and could not tell them what to do...that is why I was very specific with the owner and left a typed-written instructions for them at my home.  We can arrange a date when I will be home which can be after 3:30 pm on certain days or  after June 25 when I will have more flexibility in my work schedule. Thank you.

Thank you for bringing this situation to our attention. We are a specialty...

service business that has been serving customers for three generations. This is the first Revdex.com complaint we have ever received. Sometimes customer requests are too specific for our crew to correctly undertake without the customer at home directing the crew at the time of the delivery.
When returning to the customer's house to rectify the situation, the crew was still unsupervised, even though the customer's husband was home. We are happy to come to the customer’s home for a final time, at an agreed upon time, to remedy the situation as long as the customer is home and directing the crew. Rugs- of the customer’s size are heavy and we do not advocate for the rug to be placed on a table and balanced between two chairs.

Review: Explicit instructions were given to [redacted] for the delivery return of my cleaned rug. Also, a note was posted inside the house with the same instructions...to store the carpet in the mechanical area of the basement on top of a table and use two chairs on either side for support. They brought the carpet back and laid it on the dirty basement floor; they came back and rolled it up but did not follow the instructions to store the rug. My husband is 85 and I am 68 and neither of us can lift the carpet. It is now sitting in the main area of the basement on a sofa table right where [redacted] left it. I was promised they would be back but that was in March. [redacted]. tried to sluff off my request stating they had been back although that is true they did not follow the original nor the repeated instructions for delivery. The company collects money for their services up front and not at the time the job is completed. [redacted] did not relay the delivery instructions to his driver.Desired Settlement: Come back and put the rug in the basement mechanical area on the table with chairs on either side as originally instructed. There was nothing special about the request if they had just followed what was asked.
