I am responding today regarding the complaint from *** *** towards my business, Beds on a Budget LLC. I do apologize about the delayed response, as I do not check my business mailbox but 2-times a month and I just received the letters you have sent. I was notified through Google in
late June that my business had received a star review. This review was from Mr*** and he was describing the negative experience he had with my salesman at my store, Beds on a Budget.This was the first time I had been notified from anyone regarding this situation and was very dissatisfied at what I had read. I contacted my salesman first and went over the situation in full, at which point I realized that there was some truth in what Mr*** was upset about. I immediately followed up with a phone call to Mr*** and confirmed his side of the story and introducing myself as the rightful owner. While speaking to Mr***, it was clear that my salesman had stuck him with the floor model, without his consent or prior knowledge, in hopes that no one would notice and he would walk with a higher commission on the saleI immediately and profusely apologized to Mr*** and explained to him that I was the owner, this has never happened before and it was a foul play by the salesman to make the sale, but I accept full responsibility. Mr*** was given the full benefit of the doubt in this situation and agreed to accept a 50% refund check ($200) for the malfunctioning bed frame. He also agreed to update his reviews and mentioned that he appreciated me reaching out to him and that I seem like a much better fit for running my business.After a couple days I decided to fire my salesman based on this issue and others and I am now back to work full time and very eager to make up for this bad run my business has experienced in the recent months Overall, this was extremely upsetting to me and has affected my small business immensely already.
