Review: I came into Karibean Catering Hall 08/**/2015 to leave a deposit down of $500 for my baby shower. When I originally spoke to Lisa she told me on 15% deposit was required. Which would only be $150 but I left $500 instead. On 9/**/15 I went in and left another $500 which made $1000 total. The balance was not due till a week before the event. Which was another $500. $1500 total. The event was for 11/**/15. On 09/**/2015 after being 5 months pregnant I went into preterm labor and I lost my baby. I called Lisa the same day while I was in the hospital to let them know. She said she would speak to her boss. She called me later on that day and told me I would get a full refund which would have been 1,000. A week later I called her and asked her how long would it be. She said to give her 2 weeks to put the money together. 2 weeks later I called and she said she needed another week but I would be getting my desposit back in two separate weeks. So today 10/** Lisa called to tell me she can only give us back $500. We lost out on $500 and just to be clear originally no refund policy was disclosed at any point if they even have one.Desired Settlement: I want my entire refund back. It's unacceptable for them to keep my money. I given them so much time in advance.
