I felt like I was working with a business with integrity with Tom in a very relaxed atmosphere and, in addition, Tom followed through on every thing he promised. I would do business with them again!

Customer bought vehicle as/is, please refer to your documents and the as/is agreement per California state law.

Customer signed three copies of a Federal Buyers guide that stated "as is" and also listed some of the major defects that can occur in purchasing a used motor vehicle. The customer also signed two dealer as is statements which is in part state: "The Seller Assumes no responsibility for any repairs...

regardless of oral statements about the vehicle. The buyer hereby accepts the above described vehicle in it present "AS IS" condition and waives all warranties including the dealers implied warranty of merchantability and the dealers implied warranty of fitness, the entire risks as to the quality and performance of the vehicle is with the buyer, and if the vehicle proves defective after purchase, the buyer and not the dealer, disbutor or etailer assumes the entire cost of all necessary servicing or repair. Sold as is means: We are not responsible for an repairs that you may need after your car leaves this lot. These are higher mileage quality used cars. We offer a warranty for you to purchase, if you do not purchase said warranty, you do not have one. There are no exception. By signing below you are agreeing that this purchase is 100% as is and any potential issue with your vehicle will be your responsibility and not the responsibility of bee back motors or any of its employees. Furthermore you agree that any complaints after the sale will be ignored. If you understand and agree with this sign below". (it was signed by Mr. [redacted]). Mr. [redacted] also signed a due bill which states the following: No warranty expressed or implied, no free items promised or implied, vehicle sold as is - all sales final, customer has declined optional warranty, bee back motors will not be responsible for repairs afer sales date, customer assumes all responsibility for vehicle, customer has read and understands all paperwork.
We recommend that the Revdex.com review these forms carefully. We always offer test drives which the customer did, also we disclose along with having it posted on a 2'x3" sign in both the waiting room and back signing office along with a notice to the public to have the vehicle inspected at their cost by the mechanic of their choice prior to buying. V C Section 11709.1 Notice to Public Inspection of Vehicle poster states the following: "The prospective purchaser of a vehicle may, at his or her own expense and with the approval of the dealer, have the vehicle inspected by an independent third party either on or off the premises."
We do not control the time at which a customer chooses to buy a vehicle. Sunset on May 16 2014 is at 8:07 pm we close at 6pm therefore its a physical impossibility to have sold the vehicle at dusk. The customer could have come back and purchased vehicle during daylight hours, had vehicle checked by a shop during daylight hours or chose not to purchase vehicle.
Bee Back Motors always makes sure that the vehicle meets California Department of Motors Vehicles very limited standards for used automobiles sales. Regardless we are proud to hold ourselves to a higher standard which after further investigation we met or exceeded in this case. California law requires very few things: include the brakes to stop within 20 feet at 20mph, lights, horn and defroster to work and the vehicle to have safety restraints and be smogged... The vehicle successfully completed a brake and light inspection (safety inspection) smogged and fluids check.
Customer informed us after purchase that he would be using his vehicle for commercial delivery purposes in a medical marijuana business. This may include delivery in rural areas with rough roads and unpaved surfaces with altering terrain. We suggest anyone wanting to use a non-commercial vehicle for such purposes either purchase a commercial extended warranty or purchase a commercial delivery vehicle built for purpose.
Registration has been processed and turned into the DMV and customer has temporary registration sticker provided by dealership to meet DMV requirements. The loan was re-assigned to Bee Back Motors and we are the current lien holder.
We are in the business of selling cars not fixing them we suggest that anyone who has a vehicle in need of repair always take vehicle immediately to licensed mechanical repair facility recognized by the state of California and bureau of automotive repair.
We also urge everyone to always make on time payments on their automotive loans to avoid repossession and derogatory reporting on their credit regardless of the mechanical condition of their vehicle.

I wanted to say the people there are very friendly and care about customers. I purchased a 2007 subaru and have been very happy with it.At the time of purchase I did my due diligence as I always do. I asked to take the car to my mechanic they had no problem with that and offered to let me take the car home over night with out selling it to me,they wanted to make sure I was completely happy before I signed any paperwork. Then they sold me a warranty at a price I thought was more than fair.I have never been treated with kindness and understanding with out all the high pressure sales tactics. Thanks [redacted].

I don't understand why people dog these guys out. They have a great variety of cars and trucks, they are nice, and have good prices. Maybe nobody knows these are used cars and they are eventually going to break. But thats not their fault. If you want new buy it, anything man makes is going to have problem. Sure we would all like a car God built but it just isn't there. Anyways I had a great experience and recommend you visit them yourself versus reading everything online. I see their license plates everywhere so they must be doing something right.

Review: I bought a 05 scion xb in May and, second day I had it I noticed that the grill had fell out in my driveway. And that there were 4 cracks in the windshield as well as a exhaust leak. We didn't see any of this due to it being dusk when buying the car, and he almost let me sign for the car without test driving it first. After test driving it I noticed it has a squeak and the clutch was sticking a little in second but the dealer said he tried to get it to break but it was to good of a car and that it was good to go and what not. We noticed a odd smell but thought it was just the car, four days after I got it I put a new stereo In and we seen some smoke in the back seat( where my sub was at, at the time) so I checked all what I did made sure it wasn't me and moved the sub to the every back. About 8 days after getting the car I loose some power, the car smells weird and it's kinda smokey, and something is rattling under the car. So I look under and the exhaust flange for catalytic converter was broken and the back part of the exhausts was just sitting there as canon monoxide was let into our cars cabin. The clutch had been giving me issues, but I'm not a professional so I didn't think much of it but after people see the cars issues and have drive it or when it could be drove seen all the issues. It's been over 45 days and still no paper work on my car.Desired Settlement: Wouldn't like to make a huge deal of they would just refund the clutch and put it in and same with the windshield, have it resmogged, and our contract to be talked over again. About lease and payment options, or refund my money I'll take the stereo out put old back in I'll give them the clutch with the refund of cost and they can have the car back.

Review: I bought a vehicle from this company back in December 2013, less than 7 months ago. Since the day I left the lot w the vehicle I have tried to contact Jarod at Bee Back to inform him that I wanted to extend my warranty. He never returned my calls, when I would call him I was asked to call him back to remind him the next day to get my quote for the extended warranty. No matter how much I called, I never heard back. I even went online and sent an email to the company requesting someone please contact me and I never heard back. They sold me the vehicle w a bent key, which now has bent my ignition. This has now caused my vehicle to stop running completely, while driving and with my two children in the car. I was told they were going to try and fix this as Jerod dropped the ball and I was told today that my car was sold as is and nothing would be done. The vehicle was sold as is, however I tried to get an extended warranty and was ignored. Also this is not a minor issue, this is major after just purchasing the vehicle. Now my kids and myself are at risk with this vehicle and to be told they will do nothing is beyond me.Desired Settlement: Vehicle to be fixed and warranty to be done as I was promised in my contract and they failed to do their job in a timely manner.

Greetings,

Review: Purchased a used 2007 Mazda 5 vehicle on December 3 2015. On December 5 2015 check engine light comes on. Took it back to place of purchase so they could pull codes for check engine light. Code was for a stuck open thermostat. We were told they would order the part and I would have to pay for the part and they would do the labor to replace it and clear the codes. Bring vehicle in on Tuesday December 8. Went there and no part. Come back in on Wednesday and went there and part was there only to be told too busy now. I told them to call me when area open to replace it today. I went back in the afternoon on Wednesday only to be told going to have to bring it in in the morning and pick it up at night. First told will only take about 20 minutes to do. After spending a lot of money for a vehicle only to get nothing but a run around from these people is not acceptable. I need my vehicle for work and college. Then I took the part and paid them for it and am going to replace it at the college I attend. This is very poor customer service. I should not have to pay for a part that went bad after not even 100 miles of driving. Plus could not really drive the vehicle with a stuck open thermostat.Desired Settlement: I should be refunded for the part that they made me pay for and reimburse my for my time for the labor to replace the thermostat. Since they said they would do it then gave me nothing but a run around when it came time to do the job.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

My vehicle has been repaired by the selling business. I do understand the sold as is but when you spend $6500.00 on a vehicle and don't even drive it for 2 days is totally unacceptable. The repair has been completed. Thank you helping to resolve this matter.
