Beechmont Toyota Reviews (12)

To whom it may concern , We have reached out to Mr [redacted] to agree to meet the lease deal that was offered , he was receptive but wanted to speak with his wife before giving us a final answer We are still waiting to hear back from Mr [redacted] but did not want to wait any longer before offering a response to the original complaint [redacted] General Sales Manqager Beechmont Toyota [redacted] [redacted]

To whom it may concern , On September 25th a RAV( VIN# [redacted] ) was posted online with an incorrect sale price of $, this was a typographical error made by the person posting the vehicle online When made aware of this error we promptly corrected the sale price to $28,, this correction was made on the same day , the 25th Unfortunately , the complainant did observe the incorrect sale price on a 3rd party website ( cars.com ) early on the 25th and an inquiry was sent to the dealership through this 3rd party site We did respond to the complainants inquiry on the afternoon of the 25th , this response did include the corrected pricing for this vehicle ( a time-stamped copy of this response is attached ) We apologize for the error that was made and any inconvenience that was caused the complainant We pride ourselves in doing business in a professional , ethical manner and would certainly never intentionally mislead a customer on a mistaken sale price While we take great pride in our customer satisfaction , we believe that the complainants expectation that we honor the typographical error sale price to be unreasonable and unrealistic We are willing to work with the complainant on a reasonable alternative solution to their complaint and I am willing to work with this customer personally to try to resolve this issue [redacted] General Sales Manager Beechmont Toyota [redacted] [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Dear [redacted] Your response is appreciated but has some concerns First, if the service tech ‘does not recall the repair of this vehicle’, then how can he also state he ‘in no way deformed the plate’? If there was, in fact, a hole in the cover already, as you are implying, then why was that not found and fixed during the original repairs on 8/24/2014? We have owned the van for over years and lived in the same homeThe van has been parked in the same location this entire time A ‘mouse problem’ has never been an issue until after the repairs were done at Beechmont ToyotaThe vehicle has always been reliable except for this issueFurthermore, the fact that the oil pump was replaced is irrelevantThe issue arises when the water pump is replaced It is my understanding that it takes a lot less time to cut a hole for removal, rather than taking it all apartFrom the research I’ve done, and the mechanics I’ve spoken with, dealership techs are paid a flat rate and not by the hour Resulting in abrasive, yet time saving techniques, as performed on our car, and othersIt is our position that someone on your team at Beechmont Toyota did, indeed, cause this problem and we are seeking reimbursement for the repairs that we have incurred as a result of it As stated previously, invoices for the repairs along with pictures were emailed to Don, the service manager Regards, [redacted] ***

It is unfortunate that the customer has declined both Toyotas goodwill gesture ($1,000) and Beechmont Toyota's ($500)toward the repair of this vehicle, but we believe this is a fair offer

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Regards, [redacted]

To whom it may concern4/27/We have reviewed this concern from Ms [redacted] We did replace a timing belt and water pump on 8/24/on VIN# [redacted] We did review with the Toyota Master Certified tech whom did this repairHe stated that he in no way deformed the plate that the customer states is allowing the mouse to enterHe stated that he has seen vehicles in the past where someone has done what has been stated on other vehiclesHe does not recall the repair of this vehicleWe have reviewed CarFax and see that this vehicle did have a previous ownerLooking into the past history, we see that this vehicle had the oil pump replaced on 12/5/It was also due to have the timing belt replaced in It is our position that we did not cause this concernWe regret that she is going thru this but feel we are not at fault Respectfully yours [redacted] General Manager

Re : complaint # [redacted] To whom it may concern , I would like to first address the customer statement , or credit application as [redacted] has referred to it It is a company policy that any time we are accepting a personal check of a sizable amount for purchase of an automobile , we get the necessary information and customer consent to run a credit report to get an idea of who it is that we are accepting a personal check from The only exceptions to this policy are when a customer is paying actual cash money or guaranteed funds from a lending institution ( cashier's check , certified check etc ) I have verified with our office manager that [redacted] 's personal check was declined from our bank on two different occasions At that point , yes we did insist on guaranteed funds from our customerAs far as the sale of the vehicle goes , the only way we agreed to our customers offer on this vehicle was with the complete understanding that the vehicle would be sold 100% "as-is"Included in the information sent along with this letter, it is shown that [redacted] signed twice acknowledging the fact that the vehicle was being sold "" I also spoke with [redacted] , the sales manager that worked most closely with [redacted] on this transaction, and he did not communicate anything different verbally than the vehicle was being sold ""Summarizing our position as a dealership , we agree that it is unfortunate that our customers personal check would not clear their bank and also unfortunate that our customer has had to spend money on the vehicle since their purchaseHowever, we are very confident that it was clear to our customer that this was 100% an "as-is" purchase and we feel no obligation or responsibility to reimburse this customer any expenses incurred by since the purchase of the Highlander I am available if [redacted] would like to communicate further on this matter, [redacted] General Sales Manager Beechmont Toyota [redacted] ***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I am rejecting Beechmont Toyota's response for two reasons First and foremost, it is true that I signed an agreement to purchase the vehicle "As-Is" However, it was my understanding that the vehicle I was purchasing was in good shape with no mechanical defects This is how the vehicle was described to me, and at no time was I informed that an "As-Is" purchase could imply anything different Thus, I purchased the Highlander based on the "As-Is" description given to me, NOT knowing of course that it indeed would need over $worth of repairs within a week or purchase Had I been informed that the vehicle was not mechanically sound and/or would need extensive repair shortly after purchase, I would not have bought the vehicle Had I been informed that "As-Is" implied that there could be extensive issues, again, I would NOT have purchased the vehicle None of this was explained to me.Secondly, Beechmont Toyota failed to address the issue of rude, poor customer service According to my financial institution, the personal check which I originally wrote for the purchase was at no time submitted by Beechmont Toyota Yet they claim that it was declined twice Why? To embarrass me because I questioned the requirement to fill out a loan application when I wasn't financing the vehicle? I also asked to have that personal check mailed back to me when I hand delivered the cashier's check on July 24, I have yet to receive it Thus, I do not accept [redacted] response as he failed to fully and seriously address the issues at hand Regards, [redacted]

To whom it may concern , In regards to complaint # [redacted] ( [redacted] ) . First , regarding the condition of the vehicle at the time of sale , at no time was it represented that the vehicle had “no mechanical defects”. To the contrary , it was made perfectly clear that the vehicle was being sold 100% as-is .The complainant signed the buyers guide that states “AS-IS NO WARRANTY-YOU WILL PAY ALL COSTS FOR ANY REPAIRS . The dealer assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about this vehicle .” That document is included in the attachment to this e-mail . Second , in regards to the check that the customer asked to have mailed back , it is my understanding that the bank does not return the actual check . Therefore , I have included a copy of the electronic communication from Fifth Third Bank that shows the check and the fact that it had been denied for insufficient funds , it is included in the attachment . In summary , we take great pride in the manner in which we conduct business and it is our goal to completely satisfy each and every customer . It is never our intention to embarrass a consumer or to treat them with anything other than the utmost respect , I am sorry that the complainant feels like we failed her in these areas .

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] [redacted] about Toyota van I discussed it with my husband I also told me don bausher that the only wAy we would accept that offer is by check $I don't want aCredit with them and I might go closer to my home like a Toyota on colerain since beechmont ignore my pleas at the beginning siting they couldn't duplicate issue when I clearly wrote Transmissions I don't trust them when I can afford the test of the $to have my credit there and I believe colerain will throw in a rental at no charge so there fore I'm only accepting it as form of a check made out to my husband [redacted] please I didn't know how to answer it on email accept offer or not bc the offer only says good faith I don't trust them I want the offer to say a payBle check I hope you all understand but totoytA ripped me off I'm not letting them do it again thanks you all do much [redacted] Regards, [redacted]
