Dear Sir or Madam, This is in response to Complaint ID# *** - *** *** *** *** called us in July of to repair his non-functioning AC system. This was our first visit to *** *** residence and upon inspection we found antiquated, leaking equipment with
rot that was in a serious state of disrepair. In addition to the things stated above, his wiring was not to code and in fact dangerous. We repaired his immediate AC issue to get him relief from the heat and advised him to call an electrician to repair his wiring. When he called us again in January for a heating problem (months later), we discovered that he had not repaired his wiring and in fact he did not wish to invest in a proper & safe repair. Safety is a priority for CNS and as we are unwilling to endanger our technicians, we advised *** *** that unfortunately we would no longer be able to work with him. *** *** paid a total of $for a successful air conditioning repair. That payment was made as a result of many phone calls to *** *** and was days past due at the time it was finally received. We never worked on his heating system and we are not responsible for the extreme state of disrepair that his system is in.
