To Whom It May Concern:I received a letter of complaint September 11th The complaint ID [redacted] concerning customer [redacted] .On Feb27th Ramirez entered the shop with a [redacted] with 167,miles on the car The car's check engine light was on and there was a rattle in the catalytic converterHe was given a written estimate of needed repairs, which include a Catalytic Converter, Air leek repairs etcThese repairs were needed for his [redacted] to pass the State's smog requirementsRamirez complained that he did not have the money and offered to give us $cash to just pass the car for smogHe was informed this was illegal and was told noHe decided to have some of the repairs done after which he could get a two year waiver from the State of California because his repair bill exceeded the states $maximum for repairsHe choose to replace only the catalytic converter and not repair the air leeksHis car did not pass smog the second time either because of thisHe still has not paid for the original smog attempt owing the Beemer Club $The Beemer Club has retained his old catalytic converter if it is needed to prove that he was not ripped off as he states in his complaint to the Revdex.com.Sincerely, [redacted] Beemer ClubUniversity Ave.San Diego, Ca

The response the owner provided was completely falseI never offered him $to pass smog, as I know it is illegalHe never did a complete assessment of the vehicleHe reset the computer codes, gave me a gas additive, and told me to drive the vehicle for about miles so the computer codes to resetI did this, not once, but twice according to his instructions, and the car still did not pass smogI then asked him what do I need to fix on the car in order to pass smog, and he said I need a new catalytic converterI did not think this was the case, but did not have a choiceI told him to go ahead and replace the converter, only to find out the car still did not pass smogHe then gave me a number to another station with another gas additive and told me take the car to themI ended up going to another place, and he told me I just needed a hose replaced, and said there was no reason to have had the converter replacedI believe the owner the Beemer Club is dishonest, and this information should be passed to the public so they are awareI also have a witness that can verify everything that I have written Thank you [redacted] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted]
