The customer called concerned that her Groupon was about to expire, and she initially had asked that we painted a couple rooms. I advised the customer that we were not concerned about the expiration date, and we would still honor the coupon. I also advised her that the Groupon she had purchased was for (1) hour of labor, and we would not be able to paint rooms for just the price of the Groupon. She said she would think about other projects, and call me back.
The customer called back a day later, and said she had windows she wanted washed, and would like to know if we could do that. I told her yes we could, but again the Groupon was only good for (1) hour of labor.
On September 29, 2016 we sent our technician Mitch out to clean her windows (inside, and out) he arrived at 6:45 am that day. He had called the office around 9 am to let us know that there were a lot of windows, and also that there was a film on the windows that was not coming off. The technician called again at 10:30 am to let us know that he still had not gotten very far due to this film, and the customer was not happy with the results, and would not pay for any of our time. At that time I pulled the technician from the job, knowing she was not going to pay.The customer called me a few minutes later telling me she wanted us to do another job for her, since the windows took to long, and were not coming clean. The technician that was out there felt that the customer was trying to just get free labor out of us, but I honored her request anyways. I sent someone else out there a couple days later to look at a painting job she had. The customer had asked that we prime (2) walls, and had stated she would have someone else paint. The job was a (1) hour job, so we agree to do it for the Groupon price.
On October 14, 2016 I had a technician scheduled to be there at 1 pm, but he was running behind. I contacted the customer, and let her know that it would be closer to 3:30 pm, ad asked if that was okay. The daughter said that she had to leave, but her mother would be home by then, so that was fine. The (2) technicians ended up arriving at 3:00 pm, so I called the customer and asked if we could get in any earlier. The customer advised that the door was unlocked, the primer was in the bedroom, and the technician knew what he was to do, so it was fine. The technicians primed the (2) walls the customer had originally asked them to do, and in the meantime had accidentally dropped the cap for the primer. The technician cleaned the carpet as best as possible, and said that we may need to replace, but could not be certain till it had dried. The customer in the mean time had come home, and stated that she had changed her mind on what she wanted done, and also wanted us to paint now. The customer had wanted them to do this for free stating that they messed up, when she said she had changed her mind, and never mentioned that to the office when they contacted her. A note was left for the technicians, that did not say much, and was also left on the kitchen counter, which was no where near where the guys were working. The technicians advised the customer that they do not walk through unnecessary rooms of the house, especially when a customer is not home. The technicians also were not willing to spend any more time in the house due to the cat urine, and feces on the carpet that was over powering, and made them feel ill.
The customer's daughter had sent an email over the weekend complaining of the work, and then called Monday prior to the office being able to respond. It was asked that we could come into the house to take a look at the carpet, and she refused to allow our company in. The office then advised her that we would like (3) quotes sent to us to replace the carpet. Immediately following this conversation she went all over the internet posting this review with many incorrect statements. She has continued to email me saying that I never said we would replace it, and that I said we would only clean it, which was never part of the conversation.
I have not seen any quotes to replace the carpet, so far.
Thank you,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
There are many falsified statements in the response from the business in their response to this compliant. The quality of work performed in the home was sub-par at best and the customer service has been even worse. We have never once been issued an apology by the company for the damage caused on our property or has the company accepted any responsibility.
Regardless of which room was meant to be painted or what time the service was actually performed is besides the point.  There is a two-by-two foot area of the carpet in the bedroom where the primer was split on the floor.  Never once was this spill brought to my mother's attention when she returned home.  It is a blatant attempt for this company to try to take advantage of an ill, single, older woman in the hopes that she would not notice her carpeting was ruined.
The reason the expiration date for the Groupon was extended was because my mother called many times to try to schedule a service and did not receive a call back in time prior to the expiration.  After the poor quality of service in the attempt to wash the windows, the business has claimed there was nicotine on the window.  There has never been any smoker that has lived inside of the home or has smoking ever been allowed in the home.
My sister was at the home on Friday waiting for the employees to arrive.  She was specifically told from the company the reason they were running late was because he had overslept.  There is one entry way into the house that naturally routes through the kitchen, perhaps an employee who is entering a home would follow the hardwood floor through the kitchen into the bedroom instead of tracking across a carpeted living room.  It would have been in our best interests if the note had been left on the front door, but it would not have been necessary if the employee had been on time.
While we do have cats in the home, there are not feces in the bedrooms or anywhere in the home besides the litter boxes which are cleaned on a daily basis.  It is offensive to suggest that our home is uncleanly or that we would 'force' someone to work in an unfit condition.  We have a nice home that we have maintained for the last 31 years and it is disrespectful to imply we are anything by upstanding members of the community.
When the spill on the carpeting was discovered on Saturday, I immediately sent an email.  I did not receive a response, which I understand is because they were attempting to reach the employee, that is understandable.  However, any acknowledgment of email would have been in best practice in customer service.
Upon calling the business last Monday, I was treated rudely and was only told that I could get quotes to see if the carpeting could be cleaned.  Verbatim, I was told that 'they would not just pay for anyone to clean the carpet.' I contacted several carpeting cleaning companies that came to look at the carpeting and was told by all it could not be cleaned to remove the stain.
It was only when I called back to tell them the carpeting would need to be replaced was when the story changed about how they always said they would pay for it, etc.  We are currently working on getting quotes from local carpeting companies.  However, as stated previously, my mother is ill and this is a big project for her to undertake.
