I hired Bekins moving solutions to move me from Vista, CA to Mission Viejo, CA.Bekins recommended movers, but said adding a 3rd would be great, so I paid more to get the 3rd mover.The movers broke a $printer and re-imbursed me $for itThey dropped countless boxes on concrete, and were complaining the entire time.The entire experience was ridiculousThey should not be allowed to move anyone with the service I got Product_Or_Service: Moving

We had our household furniture moved with Bekins times Job # [redacted] and we submitted our claim for damages that occurred during the move according to Bekins within the required days per Bekins terms of the contract along with pictures showing the damage.We made numerous attempts to obtain a response from the local Bekins office along with a certified letter and documents calls to the Bekins office in Warrenville, ILWe are very disappointed with Bekins a nationally rated moving company who will not even respond to our claim We placed our claim with the local office and they referred us to the office in Warrenville, IL Product_Or_Service: Moving services Order_Number: [redacted]

We have submitted a claim to the company beginning on MArch 16, For the missing items from our move There have been several exchanges via phone and email on our claim requesting a status Email dates include 3-23,4-26, 6- The response to date have been they are working on it A certified letter along outlining our situation was sent on July 9thIn the letter we outlined the attempts to gain a status, the itemized list and the bank fraud that occurred on the checking account relating to a check that was given to the movers to buy themselves lunch We are seniors in our 80's and would appreciate to be reimbursed for the missing items from our move which are covered under the standard contractual terms We also took the additional insurance since we the company packed our belongings Product_Or_Service: Moving

My 45" Panasonic Plasma Television (approximate value $1000) was delivered to me cracked I also stored a gallon jug full of loose change and rolls of dollars The jug was approximately 3/full (approximately $1,in coins and rolled up dollars) The jug of change was stored along with the rest of my belongings but was never delivered to me after it was stored I asked if the jug is still in the storage unit and they claim the jug is not there and was never even inventoried! I've asked several times for a claim form to be sent to me however, they refuse to until the balance is rectified It is very upsetting to pay a balance for a move that resulted in my items being damaged and missing The damage to my items and my missing jug of money was more than the price of the move Also, the company raised prices of the storage and charged me more than was originally quoted Product_Or_Service: Moving

My husband and I had a move scheduled for today (Friday)and our movers NEVER SHOWD UP! We were supposed to get a phone call last night confirming the timeThat never happenedWe called the next morning to find out what timeWe had to wait hours for a callback, only to find out bekins was down a truck and the truck would be here at 1:We waited and waited and called back at 2:39, only to be told I just might not happen today, and they were trying to make it happen tomorrow or the following Monday! My husband and I took the day off work to make this move, put our daughter in daycare, and boarded our two dogsSo far we have only been offered a 10% discount for our trouble, which doesn't even begin to cover the money we have lost out onOur entire lives are packed up in boxes and we have nowhere to goWe have lost at least $in lost wages being out of work for the day, and payed $to board our pets, payed to put our child in daycare, not to mention the rent we are paying

On 1/28, a letter was sent to the customer offering to pay for the chair, less the deductible they chose with their valuation We hope that the settlement will be seen favorably by the customer

This is the second time this company, Bekins A-Movers of Sarasota Florida, moved and stored our household goods The first move & storage was July to August of At that time, we were charged for crating of items which did not occur As the pieces to be crated arrived in one piece and everything else went smoothly, we did not get reimbursed but we let it go On August 29, 2016, we again had Bekins A-Movers of Sarasota store and move our household goods from August 29, to November 12, On the day of the move, two items were not crated that we paid for There was much confusion for the following two days of going back and forth with the moving company and the crating company over whether or not the items were crated We were finally told 'all was taken care of on storage site.? When our goods were to be removed from storage, we called to confirm the crating given our experience in as well as the confusion in August We checked as they were loadi

In September of 2014, we hired Bekins A-! Movers to transport our goods from Phoenix to Payson, AZ After arrival, numerous items were damaged, including several antique pieces of substantial value I have tried to get results for some reimbursement from them to no avail after constant contact with a Dan Watkins Finally, they agreed to settle for $as final payment on the damaged goods After months of email communication, mostly on my part, I still have not received any form of payment toward this concern I, therefore, need your help and I can certainly send you a copy of the letter of their agreement Product_Or_Service: Moving company

We have analyzed the documents and spoke with the crew regarding this relocation The customer was presented a quote "not to exceed" this means that the customer would not pay anything additional over the quoted price, and if actual time and services were less, potentially the charges could be less However, this move did take longer than was originally estimated And the customer was not responsible for those chargesRegarding the packing, it is noted that some items may have had an excessive amount of packing material, but to that end, only one packed item was damaged out of all of the cartons that we packed We had that item repairedWe completed the contract as we stated, and did not charge the customer extra money for the length of time needed to perform this move We must respectfully decline the customer's request for a refund of charges We have checked with our Accounting Department, and learned that their settlement check was mailed out of their office in PA on 1/ The customer should receive the check in the next several days We do apologize for the delay in sending the check out

The customer's check was mailed out of our Accounting office in FL on 2/7/ the check number is *** the customer should be receiving the check within the next few days

We apologize for the delay, as we had some issues getting the inspector's report in-house We have received the report, and the settlement letter has been sent out to the customer A copy of the settlement letter is attached

We used this company to store our furniture, and also for our move They delivered our furniture on May 19, We have had several of our items broken, and others that are missing They did have a third party person to list and photograph the items damaged, and also the items missing We also sent in all the necessary completed forms to Bekins in Sarasota, Fl All terms and date required were met by us We have gotten no response from anyone We have called several people in the company,and the third party adjusterWe did also purchase the insurance from the company on the move Product_Or_Service: Moving company

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The business has not returned my phone calls regarding the gallon water jug of loose coins that was never returned The accountant referred me to speak to the General Manager however, no one has attempted to reach me to let me know the outcome of this or if they are even investigating the matter The situation regarding arriving four hours late to move me was never addressed in the response They have charged me nearly $1,for the move however, the movers were only there for hours for a very quick move As of today, I have not received a claim form that the company claims they mailed for my cracked television When I spoke to the accounting department, they informed me that they were going to email the claim form but this has not been done and I have been receiving the run around for over a month about this situation I am requesting that the company does a more thorough look at the storage spaces and question all of the movers about the jug of money that was moved The company informed me that this jug of money was not written down on the inventory list I suspect this was because at the end of my move from my original location, the movers asked me if there was anything else I wanted to move before they left and I noticed the jug of money in the garage and had them add that to my belongings They taped up the opening of the jug and added it to my things I didn't even have a chance to notice if this was added to the inventory listA hard copy of the inventory list is requested as well We are talking about at least $in coins and money Regards, [redacted]

Due to the amount claimed, we transferred this claim to our Insurance CarrierThe claim was addressed with the exception of the earring claimed as missing We are awaiting the results of the police investigation regarding this alleged theft The Insurance Company sent a settlement letter and release to the customer If the customer has any questions regarding the settlement, this should be addressed to the adjuster that handled this matter for further review

The customer only included some pictures of what they were claiming They need to complete a claim form, and itemize their damages and alleged missing items, along with an amount claimed for each Upon receipt of this information, we can investigate their claim

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] First, the services were procured by phone and there was never an option offered by the company for additional coverageWith that being the case, regardless of whether or not there was additional coverage, that does not give the company or their employees the right to act in a negligent and careless manner and then refuse to accept responsibility or act in a professional manner to properly respond to the customer's complaint, which was the case in this matter and I'm certain with othersFurther, the fact that not only were the employees wrecless in handling my property, they also used my bathroon without requesting permission, and urinated, leaving bodily fluids all over my toilet and the floor area surrounding it, leaving it for me to clean, which the company has also refused to acknowledge from my prior complaintsI must say that this is in fact one of the absolute worst experiences that I've ever experienced in dealing with any company, and the manner in which Bekins AMovers Management team has handled this matter speaks to their quality of service and commitment to customer care and satisfaction! The customer's claim has been settled, and his settlement check was sent out on Friday, the 11th of June He should be receiving the settlement check in the next few days

This claim has been assigned to an Independent Repair Company to take a look at the desk, and repair the damages listed on the Claim Form If the drawers claimed as missing can be re-fabricated, we would take that action Once the report is back in house, we will send out our settlement offer to the customer

We apologize for the delay in the customer receiving their reimbursement We have alerted our Accounting Department, and have been advised that the check will be mailed out to the customer within the next days
