I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meI would like to say that as soon as my complaint was filed with the Revdex.com the owner of ABC Mobile, Ron called and had my A/C fixed that day, after he called me a jerk and accused me of ruining his reputationHe also lowered a lot of rates and as he mentioned above, kindly did not charge me overtimeHowever I have had a complete lawn service until this year that weed whacked and cared around the A/C unit, so they are mistaken in saying I neglected care in my A/C unitI also specifically asked the day it was put in if I would need the unit cleaned from time to time, the answer was "call us if there is a problem." However the situation has since been rectified and I feel that ABC mobile was fair in the final outcome.
Regards,
*** ***

Revdex.com spoke to Ron at business and the following was relayed: The job required a lot of man hours, workers at hours each (hr 1st day, hr 2nd day) comes to $The job was to keep animals out and the extent of the damage could not be known until under the home could be seenWe dug foot into the ground and added mesh to keep the animals outI did go back with her to explain

When client called to say he had no heat we (ABC) responded the same as we do normally...we first ask if their batteries were changed on the thermostat...he said they were changed per telecom with our answering service at 4:a.m. We responded to his home later that morning charging the
$service call and $travel charge as we normally do (one way to ***--almost one hour away from ***)When our technician Dave got to the home, the furnace filter was so dirty that the insulation and the blower assembly was starved for circulation air that the sound dampening insulation pads that come glued to the furnace cabinet walls were sucked off and drawn into the blower assembly causing the furnace to overheat. The ABC technician Dave cleaned and removed the insulation pads from being sucked into the blower assembly and reattached them to the sidewalls of the furnace cabinet by regluing them. The furnace filter was so filthy with packed on hair and dust and had not been cleaned since we put the furnace in through a NYS agency that paid for his furnace with our tax dollars. No maintenance was ever done since the furnace was installed 3/26/2014!!! Certainly this is not a warranteed issue through the manufacturer of the furnace nor a problem with ABC...upkeep, maintenance and simple cleaning/vacuuming, changing the filter on the furnace, etcis expected and necessaryOur technician Dave cleaned out the upper blower assembly of the hair, dust, and reattached the side panels to the furnace cabinet (just proving how starved for air the entire unit was...it shut down on safety because it potentially could cause overheating and result in a fire!) and once cleaned, our technician restarted the furnace and the client had heat. He was charged for exactly what was necessary--service call, travel charge and time and effort our technician spent on getting the blower assembly free and clear of all its plugging debris. The client then had heatWhen client called me at our office displeased with our charges for something that could have been preventable had proper cleaning and maintenance been done by the client on his free furnace installed in 2014, he was VERY RUDE and swore at me several times during our telecom calling me a *** sg contractor or times in our conversation. Totally unnecessary and uncalled for as we responded to his need when he had no heat, we did what was necessary to get furnace going again, charged him accordingly and he so rudely spoke to me swearing calling me names, etcMy question to him was...did you have heat when we go to your home as you requested us to come there...No was his response...did our technician do what was necessary to get your furnace working again so you did have heat when we left...Yes, he had heat he admitted after ABC did our jobNow he is carrying out the threat of contacting the Revdex.com for this situation. I urged him to since a neutral party would see both sides of the situation and litigate accordingly. Should you need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thanking you in advance for your assistance in this matterRespectfully yours, Ronald M., President - ABC Mobile Home Service and Supply, Inc

On July 1st Ms. [redacted] came into the office to pay her rent because she said someone stole her WIPS Card. I explained to Ms [redacted] that we do not except money in the office and that if she couldn't pay on line she had to mail it to our corporate office. I personally gave her the address. She asked me...

could she use the blue envelop that we use to give out last year when corporate first took over rent collections. I told her no becasue we don't use those envelops anymore. The address on that envelop is that same address she was given to mail her rent off. It's take 3 to 5 business days to get to our coroperate office which is in California. Companies policy is that we give everyone that's on our deliquency list a 3 day notice due to the fact that we have not received the money yet. Once the money is received and posted we discard the 3 day form the tenants file. The amount on the 3 day is $100 higher becasue we add late fee's to the amount just in case they didn't mail their rent off before the 3rd of the month. Late fee's apply to everyone that has not paid rent on or before the 3rd. Which from her note her rent was not paid unitl the 5th by her boyfriend.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Revdex.com spoke to consumer and the following was relayed: I would accept $100 refunded to resolve the situation. I do not want them back in my house.
Regards,

Revdex.com spoke to Ron at business and the following was relayed: When the technician arrived there was enough dog hair blocking the air intake that the furnace could not breathe and the suction was hard enough to suck the insulation panel from the wall. We cleaned the filter and re-installed. The consumer is correct, the insulation panel was not reattached. If the consumer would like, we are willing to return and reinstall the insulation panel for him.

Hello  With review as a result of Ms. [redacted] bringing this matter to my attention, I do need to first apologize to her for the delay in response.  Upon speaking with my service technicians and reviewing time sheets submitted it was determined that they were not for the insulation and...

bottom board for her home.  When my office processed the job, mistakes were found where more labor time was billed than applied and materials used did not apply to Ms. [redacted]'s particular job.  For this mistake, I sincerely apologize.  Please accept my revised bill for Ms. [redacted]'s job ABC Mobile Home Service and Supply, Inc. performed at her home located at [redacted], [redacted], NY, [redacted].  New invoicing is:  $62 service call plus $1,656.56 in materials and $1,688.00 in labor for a subtotal of $3,406.56 plus 8.75% NYS Sales tax of $298.07 for a grand total of $3,704.63 for Invoice #[redacted].  The original Invoice #[redacted] subtotal was $3,844.00 plus the NYS Sales tax of $336.35 for a grand total of $4,180.35   The total of the two invoices is $7,884.98 for which you submitted payments as follows...your check #[redacted] dated 11/15/16 in the amount of $4,000.00, your check #[redacted] dated 11/15/16 in the amount of $2,000.00, your check #[redacted] in the amount of $2,000.00 and your check #[redacted] in the amount of $231.47 for a grand total you paid ABC of $8,231.47, therefore ABC Mobile Home Service and Supply, Inc. will be refunding Ms. [redacted] $346.49  Once again we apologize for the misunderstanding and hope Ms. [redacted] finds this acceptable.  Please contact me if there are any further questions and/or concerns.  Sincerely, Ronald R. Mielke, President, ABC Mobile Home Service and Supply, Inc.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
First of all, Ron M., from ABC Mobile Home Service did not , at any time, seal my roof with a rubberized sealant on 7/25/2013 to help me out financially - that's an outright lie!  In fact, in 2013 Mr. M. came out and did an estimate for siding work because I had already been approved for a grant from HUD, he was not called to do an estimate on the roof, Ron chose to climb on the roof, Ron then suggested a new 12' x 40' foot roof for $4200 - the roof, at that time, was not leaking!  He left and I never contacted him again until 2014! I didn't start having leaking issues until 2014 and that's when I called ABC Mobile again to inquire about a new estimate. It was at that time, in 2014, Ron came out and was shown the problem areas that needed to be addressed. However, I questioned Mr. M. directly because I had concerns, concerns that merely sealing and tarring might not suffice, and Mr. M. assured me my roof was structurally sound and would be fine for 5 years!  Subsequently, after being assured by Mr. M. the roof would be fine for 5 years I went ahead and allowed ABC Mobile to seal and tar the roof. The roof was lightly sealed around the top and tarred around the edges - certainly not at double the rate!  However, the areas around the leaking vents were neglected completely, thus the reason those areas continued to leak after the snow began to melt in early April 2015, the weight of the snow had nothing to do with the continued leaking, if anything, the snow prevented worse leaking!  Therefore, I called ABC Mobile in early April as soon as the leaking became apparent.  One of Ron's workers showed up, climbed on my roof and shoveled off some snow, I was not home at the time, thus his worker called me directly and said the vents were leaking, the same vents that should've been sealed 7 months earlier, and I told his worker that's not possible, the roof was done to address that leaking!  The leaking vents caused the water to be absorbed into the insulation and the interior ceiling began to sag to the point of collapse. As a matter of fact, my insurance adjuster had thought nothing had been done to the roof in years, that's how poor the job had been done!  Mr. M. is nothing more than an opportunist who will say whatever it takes to get money from a customer, no matter how little the amount, and then, when something goes wrong he cries foul because the customer blew up at him, and rightfully so. To reiterate, telling a homeowner their roof is structurally sound and will be fine for 5 years only to have it leak and cause over $2500K in damage is inexcusable! I don't tolerate lying contractors! Again, had the vents been tarred correctly initially the interior damage wouldn't  have occurred and weakened the structure of the roof. Simple as that Ron! Furthermore, don't tell the Revdex.com you sealed my roof in 2013 to help me financially when you did NO such thing! Nor did you suggest a HUD loan, a loan that I already had in 2012! I believe you have me confused with another customer and I will leave it at that!  Do not make me look like the bad guy because you did the job poorly and incorrectly! Although, the areas have since been tarred correctly by a worker from ABC Mobile Home Service and the leaking has ceased I intend to pursue the matter further because the roof structure and interior damage caused by failure to do the job correctly a year ago needs to be repaired by ABC Mobile Home Service.

I, Ronald M., President of ABC Mobile Home Service & Supply, Inc., spoke with [redacted] after the Revdex.com issue and she told me she was going to retract her statement to the Revdex.com.  We DID NOT tell [redacted] that it will cost her $250.00 per year to service the A/C unit.  We did tell her...

that she did need an extensive cleaning of the outside unit because she did nothing to clean around the unit--grass and debris for two full years!!!  They were provided owners manuals/information from the manufacturer on owner responsibilities.  I have time sheets to document how long we actually did spend on her A/C unit due to neglect of same.  We also replaced a part under mfr. warranty.  No labor coverage remained so owner is responsible for service call and labor and any other non-warranty covered issues as documented by mfr.  We didn't even charge overtime rates as we thought [redacted] and her family were one of our better long-time customers.  The extensive charges for freight and delivery were to get the needed warranted parts to us.  We have no control on those rates.  The part would not have been available through the mfr. until mid September and we did not feel it was fair for our customer to be without A/C for that long.  Ms. [redacted] was aware she would be responsible for freight/shipping charges as detailed in the mfr. warranty paperwork provided to her upon install.  [redacted] in our telephone conversation even apologized and told me she was wrong to make this claim to the Revdex.com and that she was going to rescind her complaint as she said she appreciated our extra work in tracking down a replacement part so she would not be without A/C for a month or longer until parts became available through our distributor and the unit manufacturer.  We kindly ask that you contact Ms. [redacted] and discuss the conversation she had with me and ask why after that she did not retract her complaint with the Revdex.com.  As far as we knew, Ms. [redacted] was understanding and said she was going to contact Revdex.com with her retraction.  Please let me know if there is anything else required from our company at this time.  Thank you!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The original invoices were $4,180.35 (#[redacted]) and $6,051.12 (#[redacted]) for a Total of $10,231.47. Since I have made this complaint, Ron has said he reviewed his paperwork and would reduce the 2nd invoice (#[redacted]) from $6,051.12 to $3,704.63. I still feel this is not enough of a reduction and that the 2nd invoice should be around $2,800.00. This would mean that the TOTAL of both invoices should be no more than $7,000.00. I have already paid $8,231.47 - so the refund should be about $1,200.00. In a FINAL effort to resolve this matter and move on, I would like to offer the following resolution - that Ron provide a $1,000.00 refund check and I will stop any further steps to resolve this matter. I would rather not go to small claims court and drag this out any further, but what other options do I have? This business clearly took advantage of my situation, and I feel a $1,000.00 refund is more than fair - I am more than happy to sit down with Ron and go over all the costs of BOTH invoices for him to prove his case for the amount he is charging, but again, the extra work that was done took no more than a day to complete and the materials and labor done should NOT have exceeded $2,800.00. Please help me resolve this matter ASAP. Regards,

7/25/13 On this date ABC Mobile Home Service & Supply, Inc. told Ms. [redacted] she needed a new roof on her addition to her mobile home. Please see attached copy of our estimate #[redacted]. 7/25/13 We sealed the roof as a possible fix on a temporary measure to help Ms. [redacted] because she insisted on...

having no money to replace the roof at that time. ABC sealed it with a rubberized sealant. She had no problem for a full year. ABC also advised Ms. [redacted] of available HUD grants and help agencies she might contact for financial assistance for just these kinds of situations. See #[redacted] attached. 7/30/14 Ms. [redacted]was given a HUD grant for $5,000.00 which she chose to use for other issues and decided to only seal the roof again. Again she was advised the roof on the addition should be replaced using the HUD grant monies she obtained, however, no was her answer.... 2/12/15 ABC Mobile Home Service & Supply, Inc. removed snow off this same roof due to the November storm where Buffalo and surrounding area had up to 7' of snow, wherein the weight of ice and snow further damaged the structure and was leaking again. Ms. [redacted] refused to pay for the job - See Inv. #[redacted] attached. 9/24/15 Since monies were obtained thru the HUD grant, ABC called [redacted] who is primary contact for [redacted] County Dept. of Environment and Planning that issues HUD grants and he asked ABC to reseal her roof one more time at no charge as a callback. Ms. [redacted] called me, Ronald M., President of ABC Mobile Home Service & Supply, Inc. at 11:00 p.m. on a Saturday night screaming and using fowl language because it was raining and leaking again. See Inv. #16220 attached. In my strong professional opinion, I believe we have truly bent over backwards to accomodate and help this lady and believe we attempted to seal the roof temporarily until Ms. [redacted] did secure the HUD grant monies which she chose to use for other issues, not to make necessary recommended repairs to the addition roof which strongly and seriously needed attention. Please feel free to contact me again, should you need further information. Thank you for your consideration in this matter. Ronald M., President
