Revdex.com: I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.One of the biggest challenges that we have so far is completing our punch listThe escrow agreement that we signed last year, had a completion date of 1/19/We are now a year plus later and still have painting that needs to be doneThis is poor business and Bel Arbor has missed the date by a very large margin.In addition, we have been complaining (and it is well documented as Bel Arbor States) that our water pressure is very poor and that our hot water doesn't regulate and rises to degreesThe plumber came out and replaced the regulator and this still did not fix the problemIt was determined that we had a defective water heater, which should be covered by warranty and we had to pay out of pocket to get this warranty item replacedThis wasn't a small job for the plumber to swap out the water heater and cost us several thousand dollars to swap the tank out with a working unit.We could not wait for Bel Arbor any longer to rectify the issue so we worked with the plumber directly who did confirm that our water tank was defective and we have since had to pay to get it replaced and feel that Bel Arbor is not living by the warranty and should bear the cost associated with the replacement.We chose Bel Arbor because we thought they had integrityTo this date, the owner refuses to get involved and rectify our issues and let's his GM handle his challenges.We would expect that when purchasing a house at this price, the water heater should at least be functioning properly or get replaced at the expense of the builder and not by their customerWe are extremely dissatisfied in the lack of professionalism shown so far as they seem to think that everything we complain about is our issue Regards, [redacted]

Bel Arbor Builders appreciates the opportunity to respond to our customer through the Revdex.com complaint systemWe always encourage and appreciate feedback from our customers with the aim to take every step to ensure that our customers are pleased throughout their Building experience with Bel Arbor BuildersMrand Mrs [redacted] did build with us, and they moved into their home on 11-24-Upon closing of the home, we had a mutually agreed escrow document to define items that were to be completed after their possession, and corresponding escrow amount for those itemsWe strive to have every home 100% complete upon closing, and we apologize for that not being the case for the [redacted] ’s homeBel Arbor Builders employs a cloud based system to manage warranty on our homes, and the [redacted] s have been great about posting items and communicating with us over the time they have been in their homeWe will continue to be in communication with our customer to resolve these issuesAt the time of this writing we have documented over emails or comments in regards to warranty since the closing of the homeThis is in addition to being responsive to phone calls and text messages over the yearWe acknowledge that there may have been some phone calls or text messages that were not responded to, and we apologize for missing thoseThe Owner/Owners of Bel Arbor Builders are kept up to date on all warranty matters needing their attention, and our staff communicates to our customers throughout the warranty timeframe and beyondThe plumbing at the [redacted] home has been documented in our warranty system, co-construct as they noted in their complaintThe plumbing complaints have included water pressure in the home, debris in the fresh water piping, high temperatures from the water heater, and frozen pipesWe have been in contact in regards to these issues in multiple ways including sites visits, text messages, phone calls, emails, and warranty comments in our warranty systemTo date, we have occurrences of communication in our warranty system related to plumbing, in addition to our texts, emails, and site visitsThe escrow agreement items have been completedThe [redacted] 's have not asked to use the escrow funds to resolve freezing pipesThe freezing pipes are not part of the escrow agreement, and therefore the escrow funds cannot legally be used for the freezing pipesWe will continue to work with the [redacted] s on the issue of freezing pipes to make sure we have followed the established guidelines of the warranty agreementAt the time of this writing we are in contact with the [redacted] s in regards to warranty items and will continue to be until resolution is reachedThank you to Revdex.com for the opportunity to review this complaint, and Thank you to the [redacted] s for the feedback, so we can apply it in our businessSincerely, Bel Arbor Builders

Builders. Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] did build with us, and they moved into their home on 11-24-2015. Upon closing of the home, we had a mutually agreed escrow document to define items that were to be completed after their possession, and corresponding escrow amount for those items.
