I am rejecting this response because:
*** is completely incorrect and has the wrong information. My fiancé was not adamant about using the eternity band. I asked if it was possible to fix and *** assured me it would be fine. She never mentioned a risk about the eternity band. She must be confused with the engagement ring. We were aware of the risk of the diamond in the engagement ring, but not in the eternity band. I was in fact the only person that was there at the time when the eternity band was discussed and when I picked it up the jeweler informed me that he wasn’t even able to clean it because it was in such poor condition. I only picked up the eternity band one time so the fact that *** is saying that I was 100% satisfied the first time it was picked up is clearly incorrect. I picked up the engagement ring twice, the first time I picked it up it was freezing in the store so my fingers were not swollen at all. Once I wore it for a bit I realized that it was the wrong size so requested it be resized. Please note that getting the ring resized was NOT due to any weight gain and it is extremely insulting that *** would even say that Since the eternity band was sized too small I asked for it to be resized but the jeweler refused to do it and offered me a refund. I am simply asking for what was offered in the first place. Regards,

To whom it may concern, I, [redacted], originally started working with Ms. [redacted] fiancé, and was pleased to customize an engagement ring mentioned in the complaint. I made sure to mention to him in a sensitive way that the condition of the engagement diamond and eternity band was in extremely...

poor condition, after 50 years wear on them. I wanted him to be aware of the risk in refurbishing these items, but he was adamant about using the eternity band, especially after he mentioned how sentimental these pieces were. We here at Kazazian’s took extra special care preserving the jewelry, emphasizing how delicate these pieces were. I feel there is a misunderstanding here, being that Ms. [redacted] came into this transaction at a later date, and was not in attendance for the initial conversation regarding these pieces. Here at Kazazian’s between Mr. [redacted], our master jewelry and myself, we hold near 100 years of experience within the jewelry trade. It is our highest goal to provide the best outcome with each clients jewelry. The eternity band in dispute was cleaned, sized, retipped & refurbished as promised to Ms. [redacted], in fact Ms. [redacted] was 100% satisfied when she originally picked up the rings. At a later date she came back and asked us to resize them again. We complied but when she came back to pick them up she had gained some weight and her finger size had changed, and we recommended not altering the piece any more to maintain the integrity of the antique piece. This is where she demanded a refund. We feel we put in time, expertise and supplies, in refurbishing and, maintaining the integrity of her antique band to the best of our ability, therefore we do not agree that a refund is in order. As the appraiser for Kazazian’s Fine Jewelry and after inspecting her eternity band, this piece is wearable with care. Thank you, [redacted]
