I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meI can hardly believe the extra-ordinary service we have received from LeafGuard of StLouisWhen they heard from Revdex.com about how unhappy we were with them, they sent a representative outHe looked at the problem and agreed to do repairs according to their “no leak warrantee.” A few days later their crew (approx6) showed up as scheduledThey went over the whole gutter system and repaired the problem I was concerned about…………..all done at no charge! Great customer service! Great company! We heartily recommend LeafGuard of StLouis and their gutter system

As the Customer indicated in her Complaint, LeafGuard StLouis started the installation job on Saturday, November 14, but was unable to complete the job that day because of power issuesLeafGuard was scheduled to return to complete the
job on Monday, but weather prevent us from returningSo, on Monday, LeafGuard advised the Customer but due to the Customer's schedule the parties agreed that LeafGuard would return on ThursdayHowever, before we could return, the Customer contacted LeafGuard to cancel the job because she contracted with another companyAs the Customer indicated, LeafGuard returned her deposit
In November 2015, there was no indication of the flooding issue that the Customer referenced in her ComplaintSpecifically, the Customer never told any LeafGuard personnel that she sustained water damage in her basement because of gutters not being on her homeThe first indication of a possible issue was when LeafGuard received a call from the Customer on January 8, 2016, two days after the Customer made her Revdex.com complaintDuring this phone call, LeafGuard tried to gather more information about the claim in order to investigate itBut, the Customer cut the call shortSo, at this time, LeafGuard has not had an opportunity to full investigate the Customer's claimAfter multiple failed attempts to contact her, LeafGuard was finally able to do so and will meet her today to begin its investigation of the Customer's claim

LeafGuard Great Plains, Inc. (LeafGuard) apologies to the Customer regarding any confusion or frustration that the Customer might have experienced with the claim he recently made to LeafGuard.  We acknowledged that we could have been clearer regarding why the claim was not covered under the no...

clog warranty.  The Customer is absolutely correct that LeafGuard has a no clog warranty, which means that water will remain free flowing in the gutter system.  If it does not, LeafGuard will clean out the gutters at no charge to the Customer.  However, the situation that the Customer complained about was not that the water was not free flowing in the gutter system but that water was getting behind the gutter system. When our General Manager went to the home to discuss the matter with the Customer, it was determined that a problem is on the back of the house (3 story) inside corner because there was no roof flashing. Consequently, this was allowing water to get behind the gutter and rotted the wood fascia board in that corner.  The problem had been on-going for a lengthy period of time.  Thus, the problem is not related to anything LeafGuard did when installing the gutter system. The General Manager explained the situation, and the Customer understood.   Although LeafGuard is not responsible for the problem that the Customer complained of, we wanted to make him satisfied, if possible.  So, in the interest of customer service, LeafGuard agreed to remedy the Customer’s problem at no cost to him.  We will replace the bad fascia board, about three feet.  In order to access the bad fascia board, we will have to remove and then re-hang the gutters after the fascia board has been replaced.  Hopefully, the work will be completed by the end of this week.  The Customer was satisfied with LeafGuard’s agreement.  Therefore, we consider this matter closed.
