I am writing in reply to your letter referencing complaint ID [redacted] .| initially inspected the unit on or about August 12thAt the time of my inspection, found only the odor of wet drywall mud and noted it to the managementUnfortunately, the refrigerator was not completely emptied by an employee and, as a result of this; food went bad and put out an odorThis odor was noted after my initial inspect of her complaintOnce the refrigerator cleaning error was realized, we immediately removed the refrigerator from the premisesWe are replacing the refrigerator for the unit owner.Once the refrigerator was removed, we installed an ozone machine to address the issueThis did not fully address the issue so we wiped down the walls and cleaned the concrete slabFollowing these steps, we used a vapor sharkThis past Week, I re-inspected the unitThe only "odor" was that of a mild lemon/mint smellThis is typical for what we used and will completely fade once the repairs and painting are completed[redacted] also noted that there Was a sewer smellWhile the drains Were indeed plugged, it was not satisfactorily doneWe have since re-installed the p-traps, put water in them, and properly plugged themThere is no need to re-clean the HVAC unit or the ductwork.BELFOR has taken corrective action in this issueI have also had management Walk the unit with me during my last inspectionThere were no odors noted outside of what would normally be noted in a unit under repair after remediation.While we are working in [redacted] unit, it needs to be noted that BELFOR is working for the association.Thank you for your time

Once the refrigerator cleaning error was realized, we immediately removed the refrigerator from the premises.
